You might need to use more than one of these, but stuck it under my oil drain container and hoped for the best. Somehow for once, didn't spill any oil out of the sump, so even if these are just for luck I'll use them again.Unfortunately, I then proceeded to spill brake fluid everywhere as I'd not fully tightened the cap on the reservoir before pumping the pressure bleeder. Had obviously cleared the sheets away at that point.They're single use only but hadn't picked up too much muck from being on the floor (second picture), and looks like they'll absorb a minor spill. Wouldn't expect them to absorb much more than a double coating of kitchen towel, though at least they'll retain it a bit better when transferring it to a bin bag.

There's not really a lot to say about such a simple thing as absorbent pads, but these are excellent. The level of absorbency compared to something like kitchen roll, for example, is incredible. You can pour pretty much anything onto the pads and they will absorb it. Similarly for mopping up spills. Engine oil stains and can be hard to get off, so placing a couple of these pads underneath where it is likely to drip makes life a little easier.

I got this for my kitchen as when things are being fried, they often leave oil splatters and marks against the walls and sometimes stain. They're easy to just put down and pick up when you're done and save so much time overall. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my needs, these absorbent pads slide easily into drip trays to catch any oil from my old motorbike (see photo). Come in a sealed pack, the pads are well made sealed round the edges with a slightly shinier material on the base, the upper has a rougher, more absorbent feel. Far better than using paper towels as not only do they absorb significantly more but when soaked (within reason) they don't drip the contents everywhere when the time for disposal comes. Fairly inexpensive, just far easier than getting oil on the floor which is onerous to remove. Quite happy with this product, happy to recommend.
