I ordered this ‘launch rocket’ toy from milifox. It’s actually much better than I expected it to be. We’ve had a great time playing with it in both modes and it’s still going strong. Basically in consists of a ‘launch pad’ with a detachable stand, an air bladder, which kids can stand on with force, and four rocket darts, three of which fit into the launcher at any one time. I was very impressed by how high the darts flew, much higher than I was expecting. They fly off one by one, not three at once, so there must be a system inside to direct the air in this fashion. The darts are large(ish) foam darts so are about as safe as you can get although you probably still don’t one approaching your face at full velocity. It’s great fun though because of the spectacle and the power of being able to acheived the height.There is a second mode, which is a weapon, where you turn the launcher on its stride (stand removed) and you have a three missile launcher blasting horizontally. In this mode, it was fun, and we had a distance competition. However if you had two sets it could be one of the best nerf-style battles at long distance! Anyway, the point is there are several ways to play and each offers something different.I found the quality is good, although I wouldn’t necessarily expect the darts to last forever especially if there is rough play or grabbing it off each other etc. but it was as good as new each time after play when we used it. So it will last if you take reasonable care.This would make a good gift-easy to use straight out the box and no batteries etc required. All in all, good bit of kit for the very decent price of £16.99. Would recommend. Five stars.

Kept a bunch of 5-15yrs olds occupied for ages - well at least until they lost the rockets !Nicely presented box. The item itself looks good.Not immediately obvious how it fits together but a bunch of kids worked it out.Setup and release also kept them occupied and it becomes a bit of team game to release and work out where the rockets end up.But you do need a reasonable amount of space. Used in a standard back garden all 3 rockets even with straight up trajectory drifted into neighbours gardens.It is a little bit on the pricey side and at currently around 21GBP I would have expected a couple of spare rockets.Also it's not apparent from manufacturers/suppliers info provided how to buy extra rockets.Hence this could become a redundant toy very quickly.Hence only giving 3 stars. If extra rockets and availability would have been easier then this would easily have been 4 or 5 stars.

This rocket launcher is simple to use, just connect the hose, load up the rockets, pump the foot step and step on forcibly to shoot the rockets skywards. They do propel at quite a pace, but as they are made of a very lightweight foam no damage ensued.You can either use the rocket launcher base or the handle. Build quality is decent, although at nearly £21 would say is a little overpriced for what is on offer here.It’s fun, ideally suited for outdoors, works as intended and worthy of consideration.
