This set of earring hoops is really light in weight. If I had made them I think I would have used 26 gauge wire (the larger the number the thinner the wire). The think I like about them being so thin is how light they are and they will not pull the pierced hole down because the are light. Just don't let the baby grab them as they are thin enough to tear your ear lobe.The description's information on how many each are is a bit confusing. It says: "40pcs different sizes of gold and silver hoop earrings". When I first read this I thought it meant 40 of gold and 40 of silver. But after counting what I received it means 20 of gold and 20 of silver making it 40 pieces in total. It is the same with the tear drop hoops as well ... 20 gold and 20 silver ... and the earring hooks ... 20 gold and 20 silver ... and the same for the jump rings ... 20 gold and 20 silver ... and silicone earring backsThe earring hooks are hypoallergenic. Not fear of infection.I recommend this set for upper level jewelry.
