The glass was somewhat unclean and it had quite strong chemical stink in it. Was it used? I washed it in the dishwasher, which fixed both problems and made it as new. Otherwise the item works as advertised.Note that you need to buy filters separately. Instead of flat coffee filters, I recommend getting basket coffee filters, so that the liquid can not go around the filter. Flat filters leaked for me.The packaging was exceptional, can be assured that no carrier can break the glass.
