Clips game counters very nicely. Slightly disappointing build quality. I had to put locktite on the 2 nuts as they came loose almost immediately. The central pivot is very disappointing cheap metal rivet which is suspect will fail eventually. It can be easily be replaced with a steel nut and bolt if that should happen

Agree with other reviewers: It works but care is needed as it is too easy to missalign the item you are clipping

I’ve clipped ASL counters for SK1, BV, and Yanks (thousands of counters). I botched a few out of my own lack of knowledge/practice but you soon almost “become one” with this wonderful machine. Definitely use it upside down and after a while you start to see exactly where the tip of the counter needs to be to get a clean cut every time. Also don’t push the counter too hard and only use one side of the “ramp” to guide the counter down into its cozy little guillotine block. After I got through BV box, I tightened up the side bolts, oiled the joints and the die cut outer piece that slides against the plastic, and used compressed air every so often to blow out the microscopic cardboard fairy dust that accumulates over time. Only complaint is that I got a blister on my hand from my own superhuman-level overuse and I think the rubber coated handles could have been a bit closer together, but I also have the small delicate hands of a momma’s boy. Definitely recommend this for Wargame Counters.

I've now used this punch cutter to round the corners of 1000s of Advanced Squad Leader game playing piece counters.The punch cutter is easiest to use upside down as this allows you to see that you have the piece centered prior to punching the corner.It's heavy duty construction allows ease of use and is comfortable enough to cut 100s of pieces in one sitting.Very happy with this purchase!

Works great, I cut corners off of the cardboard pieces to two complete wargames with this punch, and am definitely going to do the same on the rest of my collection.
