I should have purchased this14" wide taping knife a long time ago. Saves time and does a great job when applying joint compound in the seams of the sheet rock.

Item arrived with a slight nick—so, leaves lines in mud (joint compound)—sanded down and seams to work better

This is an excellent drywall knives, much better than the Richards I'm used to and more comfortable than Marshaltown. At 14 inches it's a dream for butt joins and outside corners. Just the right flex for feathering but still stiff enough. I liked it enough to order a few more in different lengths.I had to knock one star off for shipping. It came in bubble wrap only. No box, no protective strip, nothing. When I opened it one corner was badly bent rendering it useless (see picture). That one got returned, another was sent and that one was good but the shipping was the same - no box, no protection. My next order did come in a box so maybe order more than one knife for betters odds on getting a box.
