These are awesome for someone like me that is OCD about most things, including cables being stored properly. I've used them for a long time now and have never had an issue with one breaking or anything quality-related.

My family is obsessed with the small version of these and we use them on our phone charging cables, laptop cables, small appliance cables, etc. (You get the idea.) Anyway, we bought a new tent and the collapsable bungee poles didn't come with ties, nor did the tent bag have a separate compartment to contain these like our previous model. There's just a loose drawstring bag so I bought these to keep the poles contained inside the drawstring bag individually and they work great. Unlike velcro straps these can stay attached to the pole end and since they're silicone, they do fine in inclement weather. For reference, these are containing poles that are all approximately .625" to .75" (at the attachment point) and 2.5" to 3" in diameter when accordian collapsed to 18" lengths. I haven't broken any by stretching them too much. If you're on the fence, go for it!

Throw out all of your Velcro cable wraps and get a couple packages of these because you're going to love them. That's what I did. All of my Velcro wraps are gone and I have all of my cables wrapped in these.So far, I haven't had one break on me and in a few instances, I've stretched them almost to the max. I'm hoping that these won't dry out over time and become brittle as I've only had mine for a few months. But I do love them.
