Being a weekend handyman and DIY woodworker I was really excited to get my Makita track saw. Now that I have it, I find I do not use it that much. When I ordered this guide strip and splinter guard kit, I thought it would be something that I would need to replace pretty soon. Since I find that I tend to use my track saw without the track most of the time, the original strips are still in good shape. So to make a long story short I have not used this product yet. I did however compare it to the original and it appears comparable in size. The material seems more flexible and I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. The biggest difference is the adhesive backing on this product is not as good as the original Makita. I realized this last week when I went to get my track saw out of its case to use and noticed this extra splinter guard that I keep in there had about an inch and half of the backing paper come off and it was stuck to the side of my case. It was really easy to peel off, so I am worried it will not hold when the time comes that I need to stick it to the track. Granted I do live in Texas and this is sitting in my garage which can get hot and humid, so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and only deducting one star for this. Since I have not used this product yet I cannot comment on its longevity, but when I do use it, I will update this review to reflect my full experience with this product. It is much cheaper than the OEM, so I hope for the best....

Mi dispiace ma è già tagliato e non posso ritornare il prodotto. Volevo usarlo come una striscia aggiuntiva per mia sega. Prodotto ha un spessore disperso ( più spesso). Plastica è molto rigida e dopo incollaggio non si aplica con tutta superficie su guida.
