If you are looking for a lazy susan for a life size 3d printed droid i.e R2-D2, then this is the one you need. The price is decent and the size just fits extremely for the r2 body.It is a bit tight on the spinning, but you can loosen the bearing tightening with a side grub screw. It comes with nubs installed and you will need to remove some of them. Do not chuck them away, You will probably need a few to stabilize the suzan so it does not wobble on top of the body of your printed droid. The biggest thing with this susan was that it was an insanely crazy job to drill extra holes in it. Some of the holes are half drilled so you need to finish the drilling to tie it to your droid project. I kid you not i could not get my drill to get it done. I actually bought several drill bits and a complete set of drill bits and them bits simply did not want to go thru that suzan. I was about to give up on it tbh. Then in disgust i took my dremel and a dremel bit kit and then put on one of them round diamond looking bit and then put it in one of the hole and then it started to eat up the aluminium of the ring and finally i was able to push thru to finish the holes in this suzan. Long annoying work for a simple task to be done.Long story short, i think you need a press drill to drill extra hole or finish the ones not finished and a special type of drill bit that i was never able to figure out to be able to drill thru this suzan, but i got it done and the rest is working out.You can buy a competitor's ring and the recommended one in the forums and instructions and i think all of the hole are already pre-done but about 50% more expensive + shipping so it puts you over by a lot. SO if you need this contraption for this "kind of project" then expect to have to invest in a few more tools than anticipated. If this is for a regular household usage then i would highly recommend it.

I purchased this for a large custom table and it arrived promptly. It has a smooth action, some other products arrive and are not flat and therefore they turn less fluidly. This one turns with ease

Arrived today. The spacers on the attachment ring are spaced in between the holes for the mounting screws. The spacers should be at the same location as the mounting holes so the bearing does not warp (deform) when the ring is screwed into position. I attached the bearing ring using my own plastic spacers, and they work great.

This Lazy Susan works for your R2 Unit BUT there is minor drilling you will need to do... Basically you need to drill 4 holes that already exist all the way through instead of 3/4 through as it comes. Best susan I have used! Very quiet and works really well. Very happy with this product and suggest to any and all r2 builders
