While this camera looks like it should be an SLR it is just a digital camera in an SLR body. Basically a point and shoot. You can adjust to presets but not fine tune them. That being said it takes decent enough pictures but without the settings I am usually more likely to pull out my iphone to snap a photo. I was expecting it to have more features.

This is a feature-rich camera in a smaller, beginner-friendly package. It includes useful tools like a hotshoe, fill light, and even a microphone. I love that it comes with a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable for casting videos to a TV and uses USB-C for charging, exporting, and webcam functions. The build quality feels better than other budget options. However, the sensor could be improved, as the so called 48MP/4K30 video quality is just average when viewed on a computer. Still, it’s a great starter camera for teens or beginners.

I’ve been using the Hojocojo Digital Camera for wildlife, astrophotography spotting, and outdoor adventures, and it’s impressive. At around $99, it’s great value for money, though I’m not sure why it’s labeled "beginner" because it performs much better than that. The storage capacity and battery life are excellent, and it’s very useful for situations where the risk of loss is high, like river rafting. A versatile and dependable camera for various uses.An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

It's got "Max 48 megapixels" according to the box. I may not understand what that means, or why Max 48 and not just plain 48, because a $700 Canon digital camera advertises 24 megapixels. Presumably this one isn't the equal of the Canon, but on the surface I would say 48 > 24. This is at least a serviceable camera with hotshoe, fill light, and even a microphone. There's lots of stuff in the box. The form factor is smaller than an "adult" camera, but if you need a really steady shot you could mount this on a tripod just like a full sized SLR.It has digital zoom, into which you can screw a macro lens and on that a fixed zoom of about 10x. The mechanical zoom says "Japanese optics". They seem like good lenses to me. The images through them are nice, and the colors are good. There's no mechanically adjustable zoom lens. I'm not a photography expert so I don't know if the given combination is just about as good as a high quality (expensive, heavy and making the camera tip forward) mechanical zoom lens.My kids aren't interested in photography, but I am sometimes, so this camera will be used by an adult for now. The instructions are clear and the user interface menus are friendly. Even an adult can do it.
