Thought material would be more heavy duty like others I've purchased on Amazon. We'll see how long lasts.

This is a nicer grill cover than I was really expecting. Although it is lighter weight than covers I've used in the past, I very much like a couple of features which I've shown in the photos. First of all, I like the tie straps on each side that are adjustable and have plastic clips to secure the cover to the grill instead of the ones that have to be tied together. This makes it much quicker to remove the cover when getting ready to use it and to secure it when done. Secondly, it has handles attached to the top of the cover that makes it easier to lift the cover straight up when removing which minimizes the possibility if snagging the corners of the cover on any sharp edges from side tables/burners. Speaking of the weight of the cover, it remains to be seen how durable this cover will be. I suppose that will depend on how often one uses their grill, which we use ours a lot.

55" Grill cover fits over our x15yr old "Weber Genesis Silver." Cover is an easy fit and has ample room to slide over top and easily settle into position. Both sides have slide straps to pull and cinch up excess bulk to help secure and customize fit. Top has x2 sewn in handles for easy grab removal.. strap buckles underneath around the girth to insure it will stay put.The issue and concern is in the very thin layer. Cover doesn't boast real integrity to hold up against extreme elements. Even though interior is lined with a silver layer of temperature regulating material- I worry freezing winter temps could impact the gas line we have built in and connected year round? Material is quite thin and capable to penetrate by sharp object or corner of grill itself.Provides a nice aesthetic to keep a clean look on patio. Keeps wasps from sneaking in to build nest inside lid of grill! Just not for longevity- more of a summer season option. See pics of up close details and cover in place. This review is for the 52 in. version. This is on a Weber 3-burner Spirit grill. The cover is too short. You will get water from rainstorms blowing into the bottom storage area of your grill. The material is very thin and lightweight. It blows around in the wind. Would not be surprised if it blows off the grill even withe the straps on the side. I expect those straps will tear out from the material. Spend a couple bucks more and get something longer that fits and is more heavyweight.

I had a previous vinyl/fabric cover which was heavier material, and it couldn't survive more than two summer sunbakes in the lower midwest. I was surprised to receive this (also 58 inch) cover delivered by USPS completely inside my not-too-large curbside mailbox; and not actually a tight fit! (much smaller folded and lighter than the previous two covers I've used)My assessment of the main purpose of the reflective liner is to keep infrared (radiated heat) from burning the outer material if the grill is covered while it's still warm (my previous heavier cover had instructions which said it could handle heat, and this one says allow 10-15 minutes of cooldown, but I know that the grill won't be "cool" by then.)This one is priced around 22 dollars (economical, which reflects in some apparent cost cutting design aspects). I would be impressed if this cover would last a couple of years (I have my doubts) -- time will tell.
