We needed to give the critters a chance and after much research I chose these bells for their craftmanship and apparent sturdiness. We shall see how well they hold up as I saw many seem poorly annealed (cracks), but we're hopeful.

I have these bells for both my black labradoodle and white breasted Australian Shepherd. No problem with the black dog but the white fur on the other dog. If he wears the color too long his nice white chest fur turns very dark. Probably from the outside of the bells themselves and possibly the little peas inside the bells themselves are sluffing off dust. Don't use on a light color dog if you don't want to give them a bath.

My dog lost his last set of tracking bells. Thought I would try these since they looked identical to the set I bought him and they are cheaper. These are not loud at all. I can't hear him till he is almost on us.
