I opened the inside and it turns out there are only 2 wires connected. For a balanced signal you need 3 wires (I believe the ground cable is missing).

Le ho prese per collegare il mio dac all'uscita amplificata del mio amplificatore.Il cavo è bene costruito ed il segnale passa perfettamente.Se fossero state 30 cm più lunghe avrei dato 5 stelle, ma il filo è così corto che mi obbliga ad acrobazie, ogni volta per collegarlo.

die Verbingung zwischen Astell Kern und Verstärker Klingt extrem gut, zwischen dem Digitalen (optisch) Anschluss und dem Symetrischen kann ich beim besten willen keinen Unterschied raushören.

Good value I’m using them with vioeletric v281 headphone amp and Astel &kerns kann listening to lcd4 headphones and they sound brilliant with this good well made cable

From previous reviews, I wonder if they received the same cable that I had? The XLR plugs are good quality metal, the cable is unscreened braided and appears to be silver plated copper. The 2.5mm plug is decent quality and pins gold plated. The cable is 50mm long (20") and whilst seems expensive is about a third of the cost of the same Astell & Kern cable!

Très bien pour connecter mon lecteur hi res Pioneer à mon ampli en entrée symétrique. Belle qualité !
