I reffed my first game Sunday, March 16th with my new "Thunderer" whistle. 5 minutes into the first period I could not get the whistle to work unless I blew into it extremely hard, and at that it sounded like a very soft noise. I'm not sure what's wrong with it. The peanut did not look broken or nothing else looked like it was wrong with it. I definitely was not satisfied spending more than $30 on a whistle that doesn't work.

The sound is great, can be loud or not and the finger grip is very comfortable.
