The new platter fits perfectly on my Rega P1. It does sound better (tighter bass, improved sound stage) but most importantly, it looks cool. I'm happy with the purchase.

Been coveting this platter for some time to address a little vertical wobble with the stock one on my Rega RP1. And because it looks nice. Much ink has been spilled in online forums as to whether that's the result of a warped platter or the underlying sub-platter. In my case this new platter dealt with the vast majority of it. So definitely pleased on that front. There's some discussion in the reviews here about a difference in height between versions (or rather how much material is removed from the underside which sits on the sub-platter - how tall it ultimately sits in any case). And it would appear I received the "new" version that's slightly too tall for my particular stock Rega RP1. There's certainly a slight increase in VTA with even the stock Ortofon OM5E that came preinstalled on the TT. But as with all things turn table there's at least some debate about the overall effects of VTA not being perfectly level. However, I also replaced my cartridge at the same time with a Grado Opus3, which is taller than the Ortofon. The angle change was pronounced enough that I felt compelled to raise the stock tonearm with some washers (at least temporarily until I find a better solution, although the washers seem to be doing just fine). There's also some additional weight/mass on the acrylic platter. I didn't have any problems coming up to or maintaining speed or anything like that, however I also replaced the drive belt with the Rega EBLT Reference version at the same time and didn't test with the old one beforehand. In the off chance someone experiences start-up/speed issues that could likely offer a solution.Even if you're one of those hit by the height disparity of the new version to the point you need to fiddle with raising the tonearm on an entry-level Rega, it's hard not to see this as a "buy." The platter is very well made and similar versions from other makers are demanding at least double the cost. It's genuinely difficult to imagine anything significant the more expensive examples could improve upon. There was even a slight (but noticeable) sonic improvement, which was a welcome addition for a purchase intended primarily to cure platter wobble. Whether that's due to eliminating the wobble, the added mass, or something else entirely - I have no idea. But I'll take it.And it looks nice.

元々の黒いプラッターも良いのですが、上位機種はガラス製、セラミック製で白っぽいんですよね。そんな時にコレをたまたま見つけたので購入。純正品より重いのですが良いです。製品精度も問題ないです。
