I got this as a gift for my mom. She has a large collection of nutcrackers that she loves to display at Christmas. I wanted one made in Germany and I knew I wanted it to be associated with the Nutcracker Ballet (Mom's favorite). When I saw this one, I knew this was it. The detail is very well done and I love the sense of swagger that he somehow conveys! My mom loves him and he will have pride of place in future years. Sorry if the pic isn't big enough to show all the details, but I wasn't thinking about posting it when I took it...

The picture really doesn't do this little guy justice. Absolutely stunning piece of craftsmanship. Worth every penny. Can't wait for christmas now so I can display him.
