It covers the burner. That's the only positive thing I can say about this product.

This is a great burner. We used it during the Hurricaine Helen when we had no power for a couple of weeks. It fired up every time and cooked well. Highly recommend

I put this cover on my outside wok burner which sits on my deck. It rained last night. I looked at the burner. There is a are on the top that collected water and sank into the wok ring. There's 3 inches of standing water. I'll need to cut a piece of wood and place on top of the burner before covering.
