I'm sorry if you're a fellow owner of the crap-tastic G1, but if you need a case, you came to the right place.The Aippdo case is very similar in materials and quality to the free case that other brands include with their budget players -- it is slim with beefy corners for drop protection, and has a raised lip over the perimeter of the screen. The cutouts on the case are precise, but there is no cutout for the microSD slot (I think that's a good thing). The buttons are responsive, and the case improves upon the G1's smooth volume bar by giving you two distinct tactile bumps for vol+ and vol-.The only thing keeping the case from five stars is that the inside of the case does not make even contact with the back of the G1, which leads to areas that look like scuffs (see pictures) -- this won't prevent the case from protecting the player, but it may not be the case for you if you demand perfection. But even then, this case is better than the G1 deserves.
