This gimbal guard seems to fit better than the original OEM version. Nothing wrong with the OEM version though. This is a great option if you want an even more secure fit and, if you loose or damage the OEM version.

Fits the Gimbal on our Air 3 and does not hinder any movement or viewable area. Quite pleased with the protection and look forward to getting a lot of use out of it.

This gimbal protector at first glace looks identical to the OEM protector. But it has a small change that makes it much easier to use. The bottom clips on the "outside" rather than on the "inside" edge of the bottom. This makes putting it on and taking it off so much easier than before. I always felt I could easily damage the gimble fussing with the OEM version trying to get it to latch. This one latches with very little effort. A big improvement.

Its a gimbal protector for some extra piece of mind. Not extremely strong but its not meant to surving a drop, but to keep your gimbal from being knocked around. works well for what its made for

What's nice about this gimbal protector is that it's much easier to install and remove than the original protector (pictured side by side). This gimbal cover clips to the bottom of the drone in such a way that it is secure, but also easily removed (unlike the original cover which is harder to install and remove). Great fit on the Air 3S.Just like the original, this has rubber protection where the gimbal arms make contact with the cover, so it hold the gimbal in place and protected just like the original.This gimbal cover also has nice padding placed on the top to provide additional protection to the drone, which improves on the original design. Overall I'm happy with this cover, I like it more than the original and it's very reasonably priced. Functions as well or better than the original cover.
