Not only did I get a good product but the instructions were the best I had ever seen but they did sort me 1washer but I’m very satisfied and I can’t say enough about the instructions.

I decided to install these on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 when I found that the whole rear end was basically falling out and would require extensive repair. I thought that since I had to replace the leaf springs and shackles, shock mounts, shocks, axel seals, bumper, gas tank straps… all the typical Chevy stuff that rots away, I figured I would do a minor improvement that would help the usability of this 1/2 ton truck. I already use it like a 3/4 ton so I thought I would try to put these air bags on to make it my poor man’s HD. I removed the bed to do all the other work which made instillation easy. I welded angle iron on my rotting frame so I did have to drill new mounting holes but a stock install with the bed off would have been a breeze. This would also be doable with the bed on but more frustrating. The getting the bottom clamps aligned was the most challenging part. Placement didn’t seem right but I went by the instructions and they have held so far. Be sure to check the mounting location prior to purchase if you are installing them on an old truck to make sure that there is enough material and that you can actually still remove the suspension bumpers or you may be disappointed. There is no way these would have safely mounted to my frame in the condition it was in prior to me reinforcing it. This suspension is a compromise. You will loose your soft 1/2 ton truck ride. Even at 10-20psi it rides like a one ton. It also raised the rear end quite a bit so you also get a poor man’s lift, if you are into that sort of thing. Though the ride is stiff the trade off is worth it if you use your truck for getting more than groceries. I tow a 30’ boat with twin outboards and thought the engine and breaks don’t like it the rear suspension doesn’t mind anymore. No squat at all. I also haul a 300 gal water tank in the bed no problem. I did bring the psi up a little when hauling water but 20psi was plenty for trailering. I would recommend this to anyone who actually uses their 1/2ton truck like a truck and isn’t concerned with ride. If you use your truck as a commuter and not for its intended purpose, your an idiot anyway and nothing I say will matter.

Absolutely awesome! I usually do not do reviews but this I felt deserved one!I own a lawn care company and pull a 14 foot utility trailer loaded with 3 commercial stand on mowers with my 2000 Chevy Z71 1500. It has been squatting very badly and handling terribly. I was considering spring helpers but a friend of mine recommended these. I purchased them and they arrived in 2 days. Took me a couple hours but went on easily and fit perfectly.I jacked the truck up by the axle, placed jack stands and then jacked the truck up by the frame to get the clearance needed to install the bags. Did it in my driveway.I am running 25 lbs in driver side and 20 in passenger side. No more squat and ride is amazing!!!! Buy these now if you’re pulling or hauling a load with a 1/2 ton truck! Highly highly recommend.

Installed this on my 2005 Chevy 1500 Z71 because I needed a little more load capacity for hauling and towing. Excellent product, good quality, and fairly easy installation if you have basic mechanical skills. I installed in my garage with jack stands and a floor jack in 2.5 hrs.. If you have a lift, would possibly cut that time in half. Would definitely purchase again, arrived in a day or 2 and I definitely would recommend.

Unbelievable! My mind is completely blown at how easy theses air bags installed, and how well they perform! They look like GM built my 2005 Silverado 1500 with these bags in mind. The fit is perfect and only took me 1 hour from unboxing to pulling out of the garage. I recommend this product to everyone!
