These things are awesome! Makes quick work of pretty good sized limbs. So much easier than using the big handled units. Allows you to be so much more efficient!

These electric pruning shears are lightweight and easy to operate and handle. They use the Dewalt 20v Max batteries that I already have for my power tools. It's so easy to take a giant branch and chop it into tiny pieces. This is a powerful tool designed and built to cut through solid stuff - so keep fingers away from the blades! Obviously, this tool should only be used by an adult, and then with caution. These pruning shears perform as described. Definitely make for a great gift for yourself, or that gardener on your list.

I was satisfied by the cutting efficiency and power from this tool.As indicated, in the product description, the battery is not included so you need to provide the battery to use this tool. I have some other compatible tools, so getting the battery to work on this tool was not an issue for me.I gave it a try with some fallen branches, some of them easily one inch thick. It cut them without problem. It is very convenient, just pressing the trigger and having the tool handling the cutting without any effort on your part.The tool comes with a set of spare blades, eventually those will need to be replaced but so far after making several cuts, the blade remain in pretty good shape. The battery life is great, I did all the cutting I needed and there was no issue with draining the battery.
