I recently installed the Amagle Under Cabinet Lighting, and I’m overall very happy with its performance. The lights were extremely easy to install, taking less than 10 minutes, and the adhesive backing holds securely in place. The flexibility of the light strip is impressive, allowing it to fit easily around corners, which is a nice bonus. I’ve been using the 6000K daylight cool white setting, and the 720 COB LEDs provide bright, consistent illumination—perfect for task lighting in my kitchen. The dimmable feature is also a great touch, offering customization based on my needs. The motion sensor works reliably, automatically turning the lights on as soon as I walk into the room, and it shuts off after 20 seconds of inactivity, which helps save energy. I also appreciate the option to switch the sensor to "Always On" or "Auto Mode" for constant or motion-triggered lighting. The 5000mAh rechargeable battery is convenient, and the USB charging option is a plus. However, the battery life could be better—at the brightest setting, it lasts about 3 hours, and takes about 4 hours to recharge. While this is fine for occasional use, continuous lighting may not be practical unless you’re willing to recharge frequently. For my specific use, the lights work well in areas where motion detection and flexibility are key. The strips are a solid option for lighting up areas like under cabinets or storage spaces, and for the price, they offer good value. That said, for long-term, permanent installations, I might consider a higher-end option. Overall, I’m pleased with the performance and will likely use them in more areas around the house.

Tape lights have come down so much in price and high quality ones can be had for very little money now. This kit was used in the overhead gap over my kitchen cabinets. They mounted easily and were up in no time. Once on, I knew that they were not the permanent solution that I was looking for. They worked as expected but also looked cheap. there was an inconsistency between the strips that also made them seem off. For the price, you do get a functional like kit however, I am willing to pay just a little bit more for a kit that comes across more of an enhancement rather than a compromise.

What a cool concept, but technology is still in its infancystage regarding the capacity to hold a charge. The lighting strips have adhesive backing, are flexible and can easily go around corners. I initially wanted to adhere the strips to thefront, around the sides and along the back under my kitchen cabinet, but the light, evenat highest output, was not as bright as my fluorescent light. So, I set out to use the 13ftlength strip in a zigzag pattern under the cabinet to give the counter below more lightcoverage. The motion sensor feature adds to an efficient energy saving system, but youcan also choose to have the lights on non-stop. The lights are dimmable, but - before Iattached the strips - I wanted to see, how long a charge lasted on the brightest setting ifyou leave them on continuously. Here the results: Full charge lasts about 3 hours, and ittakes 4 hours to re-charge. So - you are limited on this when it comes to continuous light.Do we need non-stop lighting over our counters? Not really, unless you are like me, wholoves everything lit up to show off my gleaming copper accents. Heavy sigh… Next test, was to see if the motion sensor light would stay past its 20 seconds limit if there iscontinuous motion (for example, if I am chopping vegetables for dinner). I don’t want thelight to go out on me, while I am working. Here the results: In the day-time motion sensormode, the lights won’t go out on you as long as there is motion. That is a savinggrace which added a star back onto my rating. Conclusion: I love these light strips, their flexibility and ease of installation, the fact, that they are USB chargeable, however, the charge capacity is wanting, and - for the purpose of lighting up the space under mykitchen counters, it is only practical, not so much presentational. I am on a fence. ShouldI remove my old dinosaur fluorescent light bulbs or keep them with the added applicationof these new age light strips? Motion sensor strips have their use in settings, where youwant a quick, motion triggered light (for example, going up or down the stairs at night). Now, they just need to come up with a way to keep a longer charge and take less time,re-charging. I am sure, that the future will bring such advancements, but we are not quitethere yet.

Under Cabinet Lighting by AmagleI am happy with this Under Cabinet Lighting by Amagle. The lights were very easy to install, taking me less than 10 minutes. The light strip is very pliable and cut-able and the adhesive strip holds great. I’ve had mine stuck under my cabinets for 2 weeks now and they have held perfect and not come loose. These Under Cabinet Lighting by Amagle are 6000K daylight cool white color and are dimmable, made with 720 COB LEDs that deliver 300 lumens at maximum brightness. The light strip comes with a 16.4 ft range motion sensor that works great, automatically turns the lights on as soon as I walk into the room. The lights will auto shut off after 20 seconds if no movement is detected. The Under Cabinet Lighting by Amagle has can be powered via the built-in 5000mAh higher capacity rechargeable battery or USB powered. The motion sensor unit can be set to Always On; Auto mode - Motion sensor; Sun (All Day Mode) for auto lighting all the time (24/7); and Moon (Night Mode) where the motion + light sensors activate the lights only in darkness. The motion sensor has a built-in magnet so you can attach it to a metal surface or use the included adhesive metal plates attached where ever you find convenient. At first I had the motion sensor mounted where it didn’t work well, but after moving it to a better location the lights automatically turn on every time I walk into the room. These Under Cabinet Lighting by Amagle work great and I’m very pleased with them.

As I get older I need more light in more places. We have a number of motion-sensing lights around the house, and always have a few spots where we feel like we could use a solution. We have a storage closet under our basement stairs that is such a spot. We didn't put any hard-wired lighting in when we framed it in, so it has always been a bit of a dark hole when we access it. This light set (one of the two included) is about perfect. The 13' length allowed me to go almost completely around the door frame, casting light on all levels. The strips are thick with chips spaced very close together for consistent lighting. The dimming feature is nice, but I will use it cranked to the max. The choices of always on vs motion for day or night is nice. I installed the metal disc easily to the wall, and stuck the light strip around the inside of the door frame, and it was done. You can never get the strip to lay perfectly flat around the corners, but I can live with that imperfection as I'm probably the only one who will ever look up at it. The battery/control unit is a little too heavy for the magnet, but ultimately it does hold in place OK. Overall I'm very happy with the lights, and will decide on the 2nd installation location soon.
