I bought this for a long wire HF antenna. It seems strong and is thin enough that it isn't very visible. I ran about 100 foot up about 30 foot high in a tree and have great reception.

As an amateur (ham) radio operator, I enjoy building my own antennas. This stuff is excellent for building antennas that can be quickly deployed in emergency situations, or for quick, portable setups - like in a park. I even put up a horizontal loop antenna with this wire and it's working great on 40m through 10m. It's flexible enough to be wound on a spool or reel for quick deployment. Just be careful on winding so it doesn't tangle. It may stretch over time since it's a somewhat soft copper, but since I intend to use it for portable antennas, that won't be a problem. Highly recommend.
