They work, they are a bit difficult to get into some hardwood trees but once they're in they are good

These ladder steps bite into the tree and screw in with ease without having to fight them to get them started. They are strong and handle my 200lb weight easily. I am happy with this purchase and they arrived on time.

Worked well. A little harder to screw in than other ameristep models. Thread seems less aggressive
