This AMMSUN Beach Tent Portable Beach Canopy is an 11ft X 11ft size and it will be PERFECT for Sun Shelter at the beach and I think it will keep us a bit cooler for sure. I think that this is a great item to have.

I used one of these before, but it only had 2 poles and thought I’d like to try this one with 4 poles to see if it would have more shade. With the sun overhead I measured about 10’ of shade and I could walk under it only sometimes hitting my head, so it gives about 6’ clearance.The poles are like tent poles but much stronger and have a pointed bottom and quality ball on top. They recommend not getting sand into the joints as it could be difficult to separate them.The overall product seems to be of very good quality, even the shovel and bag.Some notes… it might be possible to erect by yourself but 2 people will be much easier.The arms that come out the sides go out an extra 6-8 feet each so this wont be good for a crowded beach, be sure you have plenty of room.

This beach tent is large and easy to assemble. They have taken into account how to fool it is to stake a tent in sand by using built-in sandbags to anchor a tent. This works fairly well, but in a stiff wind the sandbags will move and if you do not pay attention, the tent could possibly collapse. This is not normally a problem however, as it takes pretty stiff wind to drag the sandbags.The tent is fairly large and I was able to obtain shade for five people and three Golden Retrievers. Because of the open design, it will not protect you from wind, but that is not the point for this item.Taking it down and getting it back into the bag is also a lot easier than it is with some other products. The bag is big enough but if you do not take care it can be a tight fit.If you're looking for an easily assembled tent that provides relief from the Sun and can be stored easily and set up easily, then this is a good choice.

This beach tent is very basic and easy to setup. It’s also very portable and comes with a bag to keep everything in. I don’t think it would be usable anywhere else, unless you had a way to weight the 4 corner bags down.The poles are each individual poles, so you just put each pole together, use the bungee to secure it to the top of the tent, make sure you get each one to the furthest edge of each corner. Next fill each of the 4 sandbag ends with beach sand and stretch them out some. Last, you just stand each pole up in the sand, and ta-da, you have a beach tent. It is easy for one person to do by themselves, and even easier with 2 people.I also like that if the sun is beating down on you from one side, you just remove the two poles from that side and stretch the sandbags out even further and create a sloped roof that keeps you out of the sun. It’s about the same size as a popup tent, but not as tall. It does a great job of creating shade and gives you a nice staging area for your day at the beach.

This is a light and easy canopy to set up. It is great to give shade at the beach. Seems to be well made and durable. IT comes with everything you need in the carrying bag. Must have. Only issue you might have is on high wind days.
