The sheets of paper on this pad come off very easily because the perforations are perfect. I like the thick cardboard back as well Since that makes it easier to write on my knees when necessary.

The cardboard backing on the pad is very thick. This makes it easy to use but heavy.

I really wanted a pad with perforated pages. I purchased something similar from Staples, but the pages don't tear easily at all. I hate sloppy edges. So I purchased this one and it does the job very well!

I have used these for years and they are wonderful. Holes in the side mean you can put them into a binder if needed. I prefer the wide ruled but these are great also. The sturdy backing is a great help.

This durable writing pad is filled with ample, quality paper and is perfectly suited for writing where there is no flat surface or desk. However, be prepared to remove each sheet along the micro-perforation and file it away before turning too many pages.---The paper in these writing pads is a good weight, all the lines are printed evenly and consistently, and all the edges and holes and perforations line up to a low tolerance. The red vertical line is a standard distance from the left margin on both sides. The "double" weight chipboard on the back is as thick as advertised-- it appears to be 2 thinner pieces that are tightly glued together.Each page is micro-perforated at the top. It's nice that the pages measure 10 7/8" long after being torn off so that they're just as tall as other pages when put into a 3-ring binder. However, be informed that pages in this pad will fall right off along the perforations if several top pages are folded over the top (so as to write on pages underneath).
