I find it quite difficult to screw onto my UV filters. Got there in the end though. Nice quality hood hadn't had time to test it yet though

Got this to replace the very strange lens hood of my Tamron 35mm lens (for Sony E mount) which leaves any filters exposed to light on the the outside. Fine if you do not use filters.I have since discovered that the sony lens hood made for their 85mm lens works a treat on the Tamron 35mm. So I bought one of those to avoid using a screw thread which are only made of plastic on most lenses. Bayonet work well.

Hard wearing, easy to fit, does the job for me after having sent back other flimsy poorly made ones.
