Cooling! Dog loves it. Have washed it so many times and holds up so well! Just don’t put in dryer let it hang to dry. It’s a great light blanket and does what it says.

They really should not call this thing a blanket as it is really the size of a towel I guess. It is also very very thin and very fluid. It’s almost like a piece of clothing actually. The star side is very cool to the touch. The stripy side is also kind of cool to the touch I think because of the layer underneath. It’s not as cool as the star side but it is still definitely cool to the touch. My cat took right to it and is lounging on it as we speak. This thing is very cool and my cat clearly likes it especially on this very hot day.

This blanket is not a bad choice for those in hotter climes looking for ways to keep their pets comfortable.The fabric does have a silky texture that does feel cool and remains breathable.The colors are also neutral enough to both hide dirt and work for almost any pet that can use a blanket.There are only two things to be aware of:- 1st, double check the dimensions because this is tiny.I made my Doberman (who is tell me how embarrassed she is in the photo) stand on it to try to give a sense of the scale; however, she actually make it seem bigger than it is.Basically, be aware this is mostly for small animals.- 2nd, the slippery feel that makes it seem so cool to the touch means it is hard to get this to lay flay for your pet.You also have to be very careful not to leave this on hard floors, lest you slip on it.I almost think this would be best used in a small crate or kennel, where you might even try to tack it down somehow.After using this blanket with my dog a while I do believe it delivers on cooling feel and comfort.Where I think it falls down are the petite dimensions and the ability to stay put and be useful.So a good purchase for small animals trying to be the heat, just not a great one.
