Firstly I ordered the wrong size but I was still able to put it on my desk but at the cost of tool access. That's fine. It stays straight and the long ruler locks and stays when locked. The compass ruler, however, does not lock well. It can in fact pop out if you lock it so be ware.The cost doesn't not reflect the material at all. This is very cheaply made plastic that does not feel strong at all. I am guessing the cost is from such low production. As long as you don't abuse it it will be ok but, at least for the straight edge, it looks possibly to replace with your own straight edge or, if the company offers parts (I hope so) with another.Would I recommend it? If you want one then yes because you won't find this anywhere else. If you don't really need it a t-square will do for a lot cheaper.I applaud the effort and dedication the company has made in putting out this as more and more people drift into digital it's becoming harder and harder to find drafting material. I suggest they stop making the boards and just make these types of attachments and offer replacement parts. Rollen sind nicht schwergängig wie in einer anderen Rezension erwähnt, wenn man die Sperre rausmacht.Letztere ist übrigens sehr praktisch, da man die Querschiene auch auf steilen Zeichentischen feststellen kann.Lediglich der Zeichenkopf ist ungenügend befestigt, was aber kein größeres Problem darstellt (-1*).Über das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis lässt sich diskutieren, da alle Teile - auch die Feststellschrauben - aus Plastik sind, allerdings ist die Mechanik clever und funktionell.4/5 Sternen. Gutes Produkt für Einsteiger/ Studenten/ Hobbyzeichner
