Thinking this was a bulk pack of normal ArtSkills 22" x 28" Heavyweight Poster Board I ordered it. It turns out this is nearly 40% thinner than the normal 25-packs available at Walmart and elsewhere. This paper is 12 pt or 0.012 in thick. Normal poster board is typically 18pt. This explains why the 25-pack costs almost as much as the 40-pack.For reference, cheaper 4-ply railroad board (uncoated recycled paper) is approximately 13.5 pt and 6-ply is roughly 20 pt. Normally poster board is more expensive as in this case, but this poster board is so flimsy as to make it pretty much unusable and worse than 4-ply railroad board.At roughly $1 a sheet, this is a complete rip-off. Railroad board can be had for 1/3rd the price and is just as sturdy if not more. Walmart typically sells the ArtSkills 25-pack for roughly $0.92 a sheet or $22.95 for a 25-pack in-store but they are out of stock near me unfortunately.

This poster board is exactly what I wanted… a good solid weight, however the packaging was flimsy and the order suffered water damage. This was not cheap and I expected it to arrive in a hard cardboard box… it didn't there was no structure to the packaging. So even without the water damage the corners were all slightly bent. I was disappointed but having said that if the order had been undamaged I would have given the product 5 stars.Amazon quickly refunded the order.
