Un peu bruyant quand y se lance mes y fait le job as prévoir logiciel type vlc pour lire les dvd parcontre vlc ne lis pas les bluray choisir un autres logiciel pour les bluray mes je conseille dans le commerce il est as plus de 148 donc sur Amazon vous faites une réelle affaire

ist ein recht gutes Blu-ray-Combo Laufwerk, Spielt BD Video Disc ohne Probleme ab und hier für nutze ich die Software Cyberlink Power DVDIch bin momentan zufrieden.

Plugged straight in and worked perfectly under Windows 10 (requires two USB type-A connectors).

The power requirements mean that it must be connected directly to your PS's USB port. This means it will occupy one or even two(!) of the limited number of ports on your PC.It doesn't work seamlessly with the media player (VLC) but requires repeated attempts, as in it will get to the part where you go 'PLAY' and then, inexplicably, start the DVD over, meaning going through the DVD upstart for another couple of minutes. Frustrating, when all you want is to just watch a DVD.Worst of all, I never managed to make it play a BLU-RAY disc. This is not just ASUS' fault, mind you, since the rights-holders keep changing the driver format, but when you pay extra for BLU-RAY functionality, it should be possible to make it work without too much difficulty.All in all, I can not recommend this product.

Yo compre para hacer uns backups y me ha funcionado muy bien.No es ligero, pero funciona con bl-r bl-re.

Hasta ahora la he usado para leer DVD y BluRay y para escribir DVD y CD de música. Según la caja lee y escribe todos los formatos. No requiere conectarse a la corriente, solo un cable USB y ya. La he usado en la MacBook y en una laptop Windows. Funciona sin problemas y no he requerido configuraciones adicionales por drivers. En Windows 7 a vece me pasa que la reconoce como otro tipo de dispositivo, pero se corrige fácilmente.

This drive works well as a Blu-ray reader, and can copy from Blu-rays at about 1 GB per minute. It works out of the box with both Windows and Mac, but does not include playback software (the software on the CD is only for burning CDs/DVDs, and I would recommend not bothering with it). The USB cable has two plugs, but for both my MacBook Pro and Asus laptop, using just one port was sufficient to power the drive.As for Blu-ray playback, VLC can be used for free in Windows (after downloading two free additional plugins). MakeMKV (free for both Mac and Windows) can be used to create files (without loss of video/audio quality) so that you can then play back your movies in VLC (free for both Mac and Windows).The stand is a unique design and if you do not use the stand then there is an odd looking square hole in the drive, but the stand is solid and works well to save space.I have not used this drive as a CD/DVD reader/writer (I just bought this drive only to read Blu-Rays) so I can not comment on that performance.
