Using a pair of these, and I get great range and speeds. On my MacBook I was able to achieve 1.6gb on SpeedTest (on a 2gb connection). Once setup, I never need to worry about having to restart these routers, which I previously had to do on an older router.

El conjunto funciona a la perfección y dispone de todo lo que puedas necesitar para configurar tu red de malla. Yo los utilizo sin cableado entre ellos, haciendo el enlace por wifi en una casa de dos plantas, y ningún problema. Para un área de 1500 m2 me llega hasta la última esquina. Al mínimo de señal, pero me llega.Configuración inicial muy sencilla y la sustitución del router de la compañía sin problemas. Luego ya, puedes complicarte la vida lo que quieras, redes adicionales, servidores VPN, DNS, DHCP, DDNS... Muy completo.

Great product easy to setup. Wifi coverage is as advertised, transfer speeds are excellent. In terms of plugs, it’s the European connection only, you will need to ensure you have adaptors or buy 2 pin female AU separately. You won’t be dissapointed.

Ich bin tatsächlich ein großer Fan vom AsusWRT da ich die Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten als auch die einfache und schnelle Bedienung über die App sowie Portal großartig finde.Der Router Asus ZenWifi Pro XT12 hat ein ansprechendes Design und scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein. Die Einrichtung des Mesh-System war in ca. 5-10min erledigt.Grund der Anschaffung war eine nicht ausreichende Abdeckung meines WLANs im Heimbereich über mehrere Stockwerke.Derzeit im Einsatz habe ich einen Asus ax88u und Verbund mit einem Asus ax92u.Aufgrund der begrenzten Aufstellungsmoglichkeiten erhalte ich leider nur eine sehr geringe Signalstärke im Keller. Aufgrund der technischen Daten des Routers, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass dieser einen Mehrwert /-leistung erbringen kann und meine Signalstärke im Keller zu nimmt.Dies war leider nicht der Fall womit ich die Router schweren Herzens wieder zurück schicken musste.

I was using Google nest wifi before. The only issue I had was a lack of speed ( my provider gives me 1gb connection). To improve this I bought a set of asus devices. It started normal, but after only a couple of days it.loses connection and drops all the clients constantly.

Nie polecam. Bardzo ograniczone funkcjonalności względem routera z OpenWRT. Pogodziłem się z brakiem USB, ale brak podstawowych funkcji ustawienia sieci skreśla ten router. Główne powody1) Ograniczone możliwości konfiguracji sieci VLAN - brak możliwości przypisania VLAN do sieci podstawowej.2) Brak możliwości przypisania adresów IP dla innych podsieci (gościnnych)3) Brak wydania Merlin wspierającego VLAN4) Brak możliwości ustawienia firewall w zakresie dostępu do sieci gościnnych i pomiędzy nimi.

I live in a castle house with extremely thick walls, some of them 2 meters wide. So far I haven't found one mesh network strong enough to get a normal signal in the house. I bought 4 of these and covered 3 floors perfectly. The 10 antennas with the backhaul connection are fantastic. It is a bit of an overkill system but for those with specific needs, this is the way to go.

I bought these as i have Gigabit internet & wanted a mesh system & scrap the ISP router. Due to skys DHCP option 61 i was limited on what consumer products i could get without going into enterprises gear like ubiquity udm pro etc.So cant do tp link with skys fttp. looked at the orbi RK852 but loads of reports of issues with poor app loading / laggy, mesh disconnects.Originally decided on the ASUS ET12 with wifi 6e as i have a few 6e devices like PC.I saw dongknows review on XT12 vs ET12 & for a full wireless mesh the XT12 is better with wireless backhaul and ET12 is better with wired backhaul. For me defeats the purpose of a wireless mesh.Easy to setup the XT12 just unplugged sky router from the openreach ONT, logged into the router’s networking page, did option 61 protocol & was up and running. Plugged node next to the main one so its synced and once synced placed it where i wanted it.Great thing about these and the nodes you can change the roaming sensitivity so if devices are hanging on to a node when another is closer you can change the sensitivity of when a device is dropped & picked up by another node. Will take a few days to get the number right but once sorted devices flow perfectly. (This also matters depending on how far 2nd node is away from main node aka router)My node is on a different floor and has -55db signal from main node which strength is great.I have the 5ghz-2 setup as the wireless backhaul and works like a charm. Ive attached a picture of the speed im getting from the 2nd node so not the main router. Main router I basically get the same speed but lower loaded/unloaded latency.I game on this mesh as well so i have gaming packets setup for QOS & works a treat i avg 18-25 ping in games like COD on wifi. If i was ethernet it would ovbs be lower. I have plugged into the node via ethernet to my pc to test and get around few ms more latency which is great means the routers work well at keeping the signal quality. Overall i really recommend these if you have gigabit internet!

I get to the point that one of the router cant start at all. Infinity loop of blinking green light nightmare. When worked mesh was blazing fast I was trilled , with dedicated 5g backhaul …., very sorry but have to go back

Mit 2 Doppelpacks 300qm über zwei Gebäude und gesamte Gartenfläche +1500qm WLAN zuverlässig und schnell eingerichtet. Tolle Geräte und blitzschnell eingerichtet. WLAN ist stabil. Ich hatte auch vorher ASUS und Repeater. Die Verbesserung im Vergleich zu WIFI 5 ist die Investition wert, mit der App konfiguriert man alle Knoten synchron. Ich würde mir von ASUS nur eine ähnlich schöne Lösung für Gäste WLAN wie bei Fritz wünschen und WPA3 schon in der Standardkonfiguration. Egal, ich brauche kein Fritz das ist lahm und komplizierter.

The Duo serves the purpose and are amazing. I Used it for our office internet where 20 computers and more than 100 other online devices are connected with super fast speed. I would have thought to take ET12 instead of XT but as you know that model is a bit expensive than the XT12. I loved the products and will recommend for any small or medium size organization. Product Quality and coverage is Excellent. You can configure both the routers and master or one as master and another slave. Currently if you purchase, first update the firmware and then use. Five stars for the coverage and quality.
