Xpanstor 4 verwendet USB 3.2 Gen 2 mit einem Typ-C-Anschluss, Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 10 Gbit/s. Es ist außerdem abwärtskompatibel mit ASUSTOR NAS-Geräten, die USB 3.2 Gen 1 unterstützen, und arbeitet mit der von diesen Geräten unterstützten maximalen Geschwindigkeit von 5 Gbit/s.
Kühl und leise
- Der interne Lüfter der Xpanstor 4 passt seine Geschwindigkeit automatisch an die Festplattentemperatur an und sorgt für ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Geräusch und Leistung.
Stabile USB-Verbindung
- Der Xpanstor 4 verfügt über einen speziell entwickelten USB-C-Anschluss und ein entsprechendes Kabel. Das im Lieferumfang des Xpanstor 4 enthaltene Kabel wird mit zwei Schrauben auf jeder Seite des Kabels mit der Erweiterungseinheit verriegelt, um zu verhindern, dass es versehentlich abgezogen wird. Das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel ist nicht proprietär und kann ausgetauscht werden, wodurch eine höhere Langlebigkeit und weniger Elektroschrott verursacht wird.
Computerfreundlich!
- Der Xpanstor 4 eignet sich auch als DAS-Lösung (Direct-attached Storage). Schließen Sie einen Xpanstor 4 an einen Computer an, um auf bis zu vier unabhängige Laufwerke zuzugreifen. Diese können von einem Windows-, Mac- oder Linux-Rechner für Anwendungen wie Speicherung, Klonen von Laufwerken und Diagnose verwendet werden.

Muy fácil de poner en marcha, se conecta, se configura el tipo de RAID y, una vez que ha terminado, a funcionar. Admite mucho almacenamiento y no necesitas otro sistema operativo ya que se maneja desde el principal del Flashstore. Me parece muy buen producto y muy práctico a la hora de añadir almacenamiento. Además combina muy bien estéticamente con el Flashstore.

Bought this expansion unit to add onto an existing Flashstor. Installed 4 healthy 8tb SATA drives, built a RAID5 volume which was very slow to initialise fully (took over a week, maxed out the SMB processes on the Flashstor). Once fully built, the new volume promptly disappeared. Nothing in the log files, no errors shown. Drives are all fine. Sent the unit back as I didn't want to wait another week for it to try again. Quite disappointed in this expansion unit given how good the Flashstor is.

Verwende die AS5004U als Sicherungsgerät mit 4 Seagate Ironwolf.Sehr schnelle Backups, da 10Gbit Verbindung zum Host, durchführbar.Tolles Gerät.

This is exactly what i needed, my 2-Bay Austor NAS was running out of space, and i had no idea what to do, then i came across this, Asus released this just in time for my needs. It was super easy to set up, and makes my setup a 6 bay NAS now, i have the ability to grow my server when i need, and there was no hit for performance either, what a great device, well made, easy to use. I can't find anything bad to say about this, works great. My unit rested level on the surface it was on, its super silent, my usb cable works great, transfer speeds are excellent, i have often up to 10 friends and family member streaming off of it at a time, and there has been no negative effect on my plex servers peformance, ram or cpu usuage is normal as well using this expansion unit, again this is a fantastic unit, well made & excellent performance. Solid buy. i love it.
