I installed this head unit in a 2002 Ford Ranger. For context, I have installed aftermarket head units in 3 of my other vehicles, 2 of which have Android Auto support. I installed an Atoto head unit in one of my other cars about 5 years ago and I was not impressed by it. It advertised having Android Auto, when in reality it was just mirroring the screen via a third party app. I used it as a regular bluetooth radio for about 2 years until the bluetooth functionality quit working. I decided to pick this unit up for my Ranger because I've heard that Atoto has really improved their quality in the last 5 years, and it was priced very competitively.Installation went fairly smooth. The wiring harness that came with the radio was high quality and well labeled. I had no issues connecting it to the new vehicle harness. I had to do a lot of trimming to my surround piece to make the radio fit, but that's a Ford problem and not an Atoto problem. After trimming the surround, the stereo fit perfectly flush and looks great.Setup was fairly straight forward. My only complaint was that it didn't come with a physical manual, just a QR code on the box that sent you to their website. I was able to get Android Auto working after a bit of tinkering.After a bit of testing, I would say what impressed me the most was the sound quality and the snappiness of the display. It felt very responsive and quick which is nice. It has a lot of extra functionality with the apps that come preinstalled, but honestly they probably won't get used. I just wanted something for music and GPS navigation which this seems like it can handle without any problems. I also like that this came bundled with a rear view camera, so eventually I'll get that hooked up as well.In summary, I'd say this is a good purchase compared to a lot of other similarly priced options you'll see on Amazon. Atoto has been around for a bit now, so I feel more confident that if I run into an issue, I'll be able to reach out for support. The unit feels well built and the software feels good to use. I'll definitely have to do some more testing and see how it lasts, but for now I'm happy with it.

Ho preso questo autoradio qualche settimana fa e lo sto testando sulla mia auto da allora. Dal punto di vista della completezza della confezione nulla da dire: sono presenti diversi connettori e cavi per adattarlo alle diverse marche di auto e quindi da questo punto di vista è altamente standard. Sono presenti anche mascherine, placchette e vitine di diversi tipi. Io l'ho montato su una C3 del 2009 con i cavi in dotazione, i suoi adattatori e placchette e in 10 minuti avevo finito. La fotocamera posteriore è stata leggermente più impegnativa, e l'ho installata in circa un ora, con un po' di calma, e l'ho attaccata al tettuccio dell'auto, internamente, per una questione di facilità di installazione, ma l'installazione esterna avrebbe sicuramente dato una visibilità migliore e più completa. Per montarla ci vuole un po' di tempo perché bisogna sollevare un pochino le plastiche e le guarnizioni dell'auto per farci passare sotto il cavetto. Ma non è difficile alla fine.Dal punto di vista dell'audio, io ho delle casse abbatsnaza potentie il volume non risulta altissimo anche quando lo mettete al massimo ma è comunque molto buono, con bassi potenti e corposi e alti/medi molto ben definiti. Questo anche quando andate a velocità sostenuta su asfalto un pochino sconnesso.LO schermo è molto bello e il sistema Android vi permette di sfruttarlo per esempio installando app per lo streaming adudio direttamente su di esso. Basta collegarlo al WIFi del vostro telefono (con l'hot spot) e lo potrete utilizzare come se fosse un tablet android, per app di riproduzione video come youtube, di film e di canzoni. FAntastico davvero.È anche compatibile con CarPlay e Android auto, che è possibile usare per la navigazione e tutto il resto.I tasti comuni di volume, avanti, inietro ecc sono fisici. Vi posso assicurare che si tratta di un vantaggio quando state guidando, perché i tasti touch a volte risultano difficili da usare, e quindi scomodi.In sostanza, posso dire che si tratta di un ottimo prodotto, che continuerò ad usare nella mia auto. Molto comodo. Lo raccomando!!!

This thing is crisp and clear. It looks and sounds very good, especially for its price.I hate that American products are always limiting us. I own an Alpine 7” touch screen that costs $350, and it doesn’t do half the things this radio can do. Sure, alpine has better quality, but in all honesty, the quality on this thing is good enough that I’d prefer to buy it. It moves seamlessly and has wireless everything. I purchased the F7 10” model a couple years ago, and I love it. That’s why when my nephew was looking for a budget radio and almost bought a different brand, I told him to get this one.Let me tell you, this newer model makes my F7 look like a knockoff. This thing is amazing. 29 band EQ, built in crossover, time correction, and some other feature I’m not even familiar with. Wireless Car Play, Android auto, and now even wireless mirror link! My current F7 doesn’t even have wireless mirror link. Then you add in all of the apps, as well as the ability to download more apps. Watch videos directly from the YouTube app, connect via WiFi, etc. This model also has the ability to use manual SWC programming for analog controls or use an adapter for digital controls. It’s not my radio, so I haven’t even begun to discover all of its features, but what I’ve seen so far is highly impressive.For those who feel like the volume isn’t that great, there are very few radios that will produce loud volume without adding an amplifier. This one does 24 watts RMS per channel, the more expensive brands usually does 45 watts RMS per channel. It’s a little louder, but considering that most people will buy aftermarket speakers anyway, that’s pretty irrelevant. These aftermarket’s can usually handle 125 watts and more per speaker. Heck, with my Alpine setup, I went with the R series across the board - about 125 watts or so. My radio couldn’t handle the draw and would flicker at about 60% volume level. I HAD to add an amp just to be able to enjoy the $500 worth of speakers I bought.Other than that, I would mention that this unit does not come with an external mic, though it does have the input for it. I was a bit disappointed, as I thought I saw a mic when ordering it but went back and realized it doesn’t come with one. Not enough to give a bad rating, but something to note. The clarity of the built-in mic is very good, but the volume fades away very easy if the person talking isn’t very close to the head unit. It becomes almost impossible to make out what they’re saying. So I’d highly recommend to get an external mic when purchasing this unit.The instructions are very basic and minimal, but there is a QR code that gives access to their page with a lot more instructions and even more products to add on, such as a front dash cam that plugs directly to the unit. If you’ve installed radios before, this one will be a breeze. If this will be your first install, you may get a little confused just because of the language translation, but it’s not difficult at all. The SWC may be the only confusing part if you’re trying to bypass the adapter.Overall, I give 5 stars to this unit and recommend the purchase.

Mi coche viejo no tiene pantalla y la verdad es que es muy cómoda porque tenemos un coche nuevo que la incluye y teníamos ganas de poner una en nuestro coche viejo que es el que usamos para viajes porque es el coche más grande y familiar.Lo hemos colocado y nada más conectarlo con el móvil ya podemos empezar a usar la pantalla pudiendo utilizarla como navegador y como modo tablet, haciendo que la pantalla se convierta en la pantalla de nuestro móvil. Puede utilizarse con CarPlay o Android Auto, en nuestro caso utilizamos Android Auto y la verdad es que funciona muy bien porque lo hemos probado anteriormente en nuestro coche nuevo. Para viajar nos viene genial, ya que siempre tenemos que colocar el móvil a modo de navegador y es bastante incómodo, con la pantalla ya no tenemos que volver a hacerlo.Dispone de memoria RAM de 2GB y memoria interna de 32GB. La pantalla tiene una nitidez y una claridad estupenda, permitiendo un buen visionado de la pantalla sin reflejos ni molestias a causa del sol, claridad y nitidez estupendas. Al igual que la pantalla de nuestro coche nuevo, esta permite el uso de comandos por voz, lo cual es muy útil porque no tienes que andar tocando la pantalla para realizar ninguna operación como una llamada o leer mensajes, la pantalla es muy completa y ofrece las mismas funciones que una ya incorporada.La hemos probado en un trayecto corto de unos 200km ida/vuelta y la pantalla a funcionado de forma espectacular, sin fallos ni cortes y con una conectividad sobresaliente con el móvil, llevándonos al destino indicado con anterioridad y permitiéndonos realizar llamadas de teléfono y leer los mensajes recibidos sin necesidad de tener que coger el móvil, algo que es muy peligroso mientras conduces y que tiene sanciones muy elevadas si te ven con el móvil en la mano mientras conduces. Todo son ventajas con esta pantalla instalada en el coche, ofrece funciones manos libre y la comodidad de poder usar el GPS de tu móvil directamente en la pantalla.Todo son cosas positivas y ninguna pega en esta pantalla, pantalla de gran tamaño y buen visionado sin reflejos y con una gran nitidez que permite ver de forma sobresaliente incluso dándole el sol directamente. Instalación fácil, sencilla y rápida. Conectividad rápida y estable que nos permite muchas posibilidades de uso sin tocar el móvil. Podemos añadirle la cámara trasera para estacionamiento, que viene incluida, para facilitarnos mucho más el estacionar y medir distancias en los aparcamientos.Relación calidad/precio perfecta. Tiene un precio muy adecuado a sus prestaciones y a su funcionalidad, nos hará la vida mucho más fácil al volante y nos ayudará mucho a la hora de viajar, ya que nos evitará mirar el móvil porque podemos verlo todo en la pantalla con total seguridad, además, su asistente de voz nos ayudará bastante a no distraernos evitándonos tener que tocar la pantalla para realizar cualquier operación.
