OK für Kleinkaliber, nicht ok für .223 und größer.308 ist brutal.Die passive Grunddämpfung ist einfach zu wenig.

For hearing loss, it's perfect because it increases the volume quite a bit but for a gunshot, it's a disaster, with no blockage like different brands, and how much foam is reduced, that's it. Total manure....

Comfortable to wear. These ear defenders cancel out the harmful noise while still allowing the wearer to hear instructions from the coach. Excellent for use in environments such as car meets, shooting, factories etc. Batteries included and available in a variety of colours. Batteries last well.

Me inicié en el mundo del tiro al plato y es super importante tener nuestros oídos perfectamente protegidos. En esta gama de productos, hay precios muy dispares y uno no sabe si merece o no la pena invertir mucho dinero en este producto.Tras poner a prueba estos cascos de tiro, la verdad es que estoy sorprendido tras haber podido intercambiarlos con los compañeros que tienen otros bastante más costosos y que todos ofrezcan unos resultados muy similares.Buena calidad gastando poco!

I bought these for shooting but have also used for lawnmowing and to work quietly in the office. I usually have the mic off unless others are around to communicate with at the range. I have also turned the mic off and worn apple earbuds inside the muffs because the sound is somewhat better than connecting to the headset. Plugging into the headset requires turning up the volume and that seems to let in other noise in addition to the cord. So I think I have it figured out and these are really excellent. I have bought 3 pairs so that my sons can each have good protection and we can still talk. I also sometimes wear foam plugs under the muffs for a super quiet experience, and the neat thing is you can then turn the mic up and hear somebody talking really well but still have maximum dB reduction. I have a family member with a bigger name brand set that looks identical, and I think the Awesafe is every bit as good. In fact, the HL has some static when they are on, but mine do not.

This was my first experience with this type of ‘headphone’. Honestly, I didn’t really understand how the product worked. It detects the volume of sound around you and it somehow knows when to start blocking the sound. When wearing in a low volume setting like a conversation, these permit the sound to come to your ear through the built in microphone and the basically plays the sound with a built in speaker. So you can wear these while having a conversation and when something ‘loud’ happens, it shuts down that microphone immediately. Also has an aux input if you wanna connect to your cell phone to speak to someone or listen to music. This product serves its purpose very well!
