Value for money at £12.74 (at time of purchase).Build quality is very good and the print / imagery is decent.Good amount of cubes as a starter set but recommend buying a couple of sets, especially if you have more than 1 child.Important to note the cube size though. Many other sets, despite having more cubes, are a smaller size at 2cm X 2cm. These are 2.3cm X 2.3cm, which in my opinion, works well with Lego / similar branded figures for extra play.Personally, I find this set being a better piece size for children of all ages to handle.Only issue is that it's challenging to find alternative sets of the same piece size and that's the reason for 1 star being removed.Hopefully different style sets of same cube size will become more easily available.

Excellent purchase my nephew (5) loved these for his birthday. Magnetic blocks hold well and good quality for price.

I got these for my nephew as he is just getting into the world of Minecraft which this set is clearly made to resemble.The kit includes 84 pieces of magnetic blocks which easily snap together and hold them in their desired location but they are also easy to disassemble.The quality of the printing on the blocks is very good and they do look like the blocks from the Minecraft game.Id like to get my nephew another set of these so he can build and even bigger world and let his imagination run wild.This is a great set for young kids, but just be aware.. Minecraft is an addictive thing and soon everything they want will be Minecraft related lol.For the money ( £14.99 April 25 ) I think they are reasonably priced.

Our daughter loves LEGO-style activities, so we thought we’d try this magnetic play set as an alternative construction toy — and it didn’t disappoint.The pack includes 84 small magnetic blocks, each just under an inch in size. Every block is decorated with a pattern or color to represent different objects like bricks, grass, water, and more. The magnets are strong, and the blocks stick firmly together while still being easy enough to separate when needed.Using the set is simple — just attach one block to another to create structures, scenes, or even small figures. The magnetic pull provides a sturdy connection but doesn’t make disassembly difficult, which is great for young builders.Each piece is well made, and there are enough blocks to build a wide variety of scenes and structures. The inclusion of a few character pieces adds even more creative options for play.Overall, it’s a fantastic toy and activity set. It’s well made, offers plenty of pieces for imaginative building, and we find the price very reasonable considering both the quality and quantity included.

This product comes nicely boxed with all the cubes neatly laid out within, top marks for presentation. You also get a handy little bag to keep all the pieces together, although I think the box itself is suitable and more neater for that, and also a little booklet showing various designs you can build with this. My 5 year old isn't in to the popular game that this is likened to but that hasn't put him off playing with these cubes so it's not just necessarily appealing to fans of that. I like that the pieces are magnetic as it makes it easier to build with, a small child doesn't have to have issues trying to slot pieces in to each other and the blocks are a neat little size for small hands to hold and construct things with. I do find the image on the front of the box and how this has been advertised a little misleading as although there are 84 pieces in the set, you couldn't build what's shown on the front of the box as there aren't enough blocks for that. On the plus side, because these are magnetic and you can join them together however you like and use your imagination to create whatever scene you wish, you can always buy additional blocks of the same type to grow the collection and expand your creation.It's a nice starter set for young kids, allows them to use their imagination and get creative, helps develop fine motor skills, works their hand to eye coordination and encourages them to follow instructions if building one of the constructs in the leaflet. Very good value for money and will keep a child entertained and due to the variety of the blocks they can build different contructs each time they play. I will definitely consider getting more of these so my kid can expand on his creations as I do feel he is a bit limited with just this 1 set, especially as he seems to want to copy the image on the front of the box.
