This is a good quality balance charger for beginner, intermediate to advanced level RC hobbyists and can run off AC or DC voltage. This unit can charge a wide variety of batteries including Lipo, Nickel metal hydride, LiFE, nickel cadmium as well as lithium ion. It also has many safety features like short circuit protection, over current and over heating protection which is a must for any hobbyists that is charging various batteries. This unit has an LCD display used for displaying important information about your battery as well as charging status. I really like the fact that it also can discharge Lipo batteries to storage charge status. This is a great safety feature as well as a great way to prolong the life of your batteries. Whenever you charge your batteries to full and for any reason you don’t get use them it is always best practice to discharge them to storage charge. This charger also comes with its own grounded power supply which many other hobby grade chargers don’t. Among its many features is a “fast charging” program and can be used for bench power. It also has the ability to save data on your batteries for tracking their health. This unit can balance charge 1-6s lipos and 1-15 cell NiCad/NiMH batteries. The unit has all metal construction and a built in cooling fan. It comes with many different type of charge leads like Deans, XT60, JST and T connectors which plug into its common banana type interface that are readily available most anywhere or may already own. The unit is compact, easy to store or pack for trips and the unit comes with alligator clips so you can use it in the field on DC power from your car or other large battery. It is rated up to 6amps/80 watts. This is a huge value with all its features and functionality and it would be hard to find one that can compete at its price point. I’d give it 👍👍👍👍!

This is a sturdy 135 x 85 x 30 mm single-battery charger that will handle several different battery types and charge up to 22.2V (6S) LiPo batteries at up to 6A. It comes with a small manual that explains all functionality in great detail.The case is made from very strong magnesium alloy and a heatsink for cooling the internal power components is part of the case; there's also a built in fan for cooling which only runs as needed. Battery information is presented on a clear, blue-LED-backlit, LCD, 16 x 2 display, and user input selections are done using 4 buttons that have a positive click feel to them. There's a built in piezo beeper that is audible but not irritatingly loud. It is supplied with a wide range of connectors that allow use with many different battery setups and there's a block of balance connectors on the right that accept 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6S balance plugs. There's also the bonus that you get a 15V, 6A power brick that runs on the world-standard 100V - 240V AC 50/60 Hz which includes a US adapter cable.The 4-button control system is ubiquitous in the LiPo battery charging world (I have several that use the same system); it takes a bit of getting used to but the system is pretty intuitive once you learn it. One tip is that the Dec function does not mirror the Inc function e.g. while LiPo charging, the Inc button steps between overall charge info (Volts, Charge A, Time, and mAh put into the battery) and individual cell voltages (if you plugged in the balance connector); pressing the Dec button while charging will cycle around various bits of information like input voltage and time out settings - clicking Inc or just waiting goes back to the normal charge information display. This charger does not display the internal cell impedances of the battery being charged.I tested the displayed voltage accuracy against a calibrated multimeter and was pleased to see The charger is listed as an 80W model and the supplied power brick is capable of 90 W. Charging a 6S, 22.2 V LiPo at 6A would require 151.2 W. My calculations (I'm an EE) suggest that you could charge a 6S LiPo at 3.5A which is probably more than enough for most scenarios given that 1C is the recommended charge rate for most LiPos but I didn't test this as I don't charge 6S LiPos at more than 3A anyway.For the price, it's a great little charger and will get the job done for most RC enthusiasts without needing to buy extra stuff. You can also run this in the field off a car or other battery (from 11V to 18V) using the supplied center-positive barrel connector to croc clip adapter cable.Highly recommended.

Diese B6 Ladegerät gibt es schon lange unter verschiedenen Brands und mit verschiedenen Preisen. Hier sollte man genau hinschauen, denn das Gerät ist immer das Gleiche. Je nach Anbieten werden mal mehr oder weniger Kabel mitgeliefert.Das Modell ist in die Jahre gekommen aber wer keine allzu großen Ansprüche hat, ist mit diesem auch weiterhin gut bedient. Bei dieser Art von China-Geräte gibt es leider immer Kritikpunkte wie z.B. der Anschluss für den Temperatursensor. Dieser ist zwar vorhanden um die Akku-Temperatur zu überwachen aber einen Sensor dafür gibt es so erst mal nicht. Leider ist auch nichts in der Anleitung angegeben, so dass man selber nach einem passenden PTC suchen muss.In der Anleitung gibt es zwar Hinweise zu Akkutypen; so z.B. LiHV aber eine voreingestelltes Ladeprogramm dafür gibt es nicht. Die Bedienung über die Tasten ist auch von anderen Markengeräten die es früher mal gab bekannt. Modern ist dies nicht unbedingt aber man kann mit klar kommen. Im Netz gibt es bessere Anleitung von anderen Anbietern als die beiliegende.Das Gerät arbeitet Lüfterlos und hat dann auch nur einen maximale Entladeleistung von 10 Watt. Also bei 3S wären das nur rund 900 mA. Bei den maximalem 2A Entladestrom darf die Spannung dann nicht höher als 5 Volt sein. Wer einen Zyklentest mit 5 Durchläufen bei hoher Kapazität machen will, wird hier sehr lange brauchen und man muss den Sicherheitstimer ausschalten, weil das Gerät sonst vorzeitig ausschalten wurden.Insgesamt ist es eher ein Einstiegsgerät welche die Grundfunktionen beherrscht. Wer mehr braucht, sollte sich besser etwas moderneres und höherwertiges kaufen.

Nutze das Ladegerät hauptsächlich für meine 12V LiPo-Akkus und bin rundum zufrieden. Es erkennt die Zellen sauber, balanciert zuverlässig und liefert stabile Ladeleistung. Menüführung ist etwas technisch, aber logisch aufgebaut – nach kurzer Eingewöhnung kein Problem. Die verschiedenen Anschlüsse (XT-60, JST, T-Stecker) machen das Gerät flexibel einsetzbar für diverse RC-Projekte. Auch das Entladen funktioniert zuverlässig. Für den Preis eine solide All-in-One-Lösung für alle, die mit Modellbau- oder Hobby-Akkus arbeiten.
