Use this for a 35ah battery and 100w panel connection. It runs security lights on a motion detector. Charge controller charges to 14.4vdc and I get a resting of 13.4vdc. Controller is easy to setup and easy to read. Voltage indicator is quite accurate when checked with multimeter.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This controller worked well for about 5 days, charging a small (400 watt /320 Wh) battery with a 100 watt portable panel. On day 6 it quit passing current. As I was on a camping trip in Mexico I could not return the controller in time for a refund or exchange. I wrote the company (Bateria) for product support but have yet heard nothing.

If your RV is “Solar Ready” or pre wired for solar that typically means you have a small SAE connector you can plug a solar panel into. The problem is you must cannot plug any solar panel directly into the plug. You need a charge controller that takes power from a 24v solar panel and converts it to a voltage that is suiyfor your 12V RV batteries. This unit is an MPPT (maximum PowerPoint tracking) charge controller that is perfectly suited for the task. It’s also a great way to solarize other 12v systems around the homestead such as automatic gates, keeping your generator starter battery charged, keeping mower and ATV battery charged and landscape lights.

This is the best small MPPT charge controller! Mine replaced an expensive and clunky Morningstar MPPT charge controller that had a high parasitic load and wires sticking out in all directions. With it's simple solar input/battery output wiring and LCD display, this controller has greatly cleaned up my remote gazebo security camera/LED party light/cooler configuration. Works great with it's native lithium battery charge profile (my battery is just a 40 amp/hour LiFeP04). There is no load control, so you'll have to rely on your lithium battery's protections "when the sun don't shine", but it's been working great all summer long. With less sunlight this coming winter, I'll just turn off the (unneeded anyway) cooler and it will still run my camera and periodic LED party lights.

It's a simple charge controller that converts up to 120 watts of power and converts it to 12.0 - 14.4v DC for charging batteries. I like the LCD display that shows me the voltage and amperage being sent to the battery, as well as the four LED graph bars which represent percent charge of the battery.I use it for keeping my auxiliary battery on my truck charged when I'm parked and or camping.I liked the MC4 connectors that enable me to use this on almost any solar panel. I liked how it's easy to use. I liked the small form factor that made it easy to carry with the solar panel.I didn't like it when someone ran over it in the parking lot... But that's not the devices fault.I'll be buying another to replace the one that was damaged.
