The hamster seemed to like this? It was well packaged and as described. Expanded nicely and added some different texture and appeal to the cage.Not sure if I will buy again though as it is quite expensive.

Begeterday 150g Pure Natural Forest Moss is real moss. It looks, feels and smells like real moss. It has a nice earthly smell, not overpowered, just mildly earthy smell to it- just like moss should. This moss is very clean and nice and fluffy. It is compressed in the packaging, so it expands and fluffs up more once out of the package. I am very please with the cleanliness and quality of this moss. My gerbils love to scurry around in the moss and I love to provide them safe materials to explore and live in. Aside from the safety and high quality of the moss, it looks really good! The moss makes our gerbil enclosure look and feel more comfortable and realistic.

We got this to add some color and variety to our gerbil cage. They did seem to love it and it was nice to add a big of green to the white/brown paper bedding we had in there. The only downside is that it goes quickly and isn't a ton to work with.

I got this bag of moss to use in our hamster cage. It worked out really well. It's really easy to use. There's a really good amount in the bag. I'm only using it as an accent texture, so I don't use much at a time. I've been cleaning it out with the rest of the shavings on cleaning day. I like that the moss adds textural stimulation for the hamster, and visual interest for both of us. I recommend this.
