Absorbs the water well, but stays wet for a bit. Doesn't drip water though. Very soft/cushioned.

using this in an RV. super thirsty and absorbent. works well over the glass cooktop to give me extra counter space to dry dishes and protects the cooktop too. [just be sure that cooktop is not hot when using]. to maintain absorbency, be sure to NOT use fabric softener when washing.

I am very pleased with this dish drainer. It dries fast and I like the texture. The bonus is it has a way to hang it up to dry.
