I actually have three Brother 1034 sergers that I have been using for years- I keep one threaded with white, one with black and another I use for other colors of thread. If one of the needle prongs on the plate happens to break, replacing the needle plate is the best way to continue serging nicely. This plate fits perfectly. I also do replace the cutting knives when they dull which also makes a big difference. Recommend this needle plate.
