Strong, stable handle despite being joined. Soft but strong broom, sweeps dust very well off my concrete garage floor without making it fly. Extra width handy.

I tried this on many different surfaces and it doesn't work well on any. Maybe if you wanted to sweep grass but not stones? Idk

Unfortunately, I have a few issues with this broom.The head is some 15.7" wide. I would not describe this as being a 'wide' broom. It is certainly no longer than my other garden brooms.Although the special split end bristles have one good feature, they did not hold onto debris like so many other brooms, but neither do but they sweep up petals that had partly dried onto the patio and they left some debris behind on my artificial grass.Although the bristle count is generous, some did not survive my dog having a quick tug on them and they quickly fell out, so keep away from the dog!Again, I would not agree that the bristles are stiff, I would class them as medium to soft. However, this did mean that I was confident enough to use them on a plastic door frame to remove cobwebs and I can confirm that they did not leave any scratches (where a stiff brush would have unfortunately done so).I did find the slim line broom head to be good for getting under the nooks and crannies in the garden but I found it really difficult to sweep. It may sound strange that a grown woman can’t use a broom but due to the angles and design of the broom head I had to use a side to side sweep action (as opposed to backwards and forwards).Initially, I found that if I stopped, put the broom down and then shortly afterwards picked the broom up again I found it near on impossible to sweep the broom until I orientated it the 'right' way. Turns out the broom head has an angle on it causing the bristles to be longer on one side.For me, this is not a great garden broom, the softness and angle of the bristles plus how it has to be swept would be too irritating for me to use for any length of time.

I thought this would be much more sturdy and suitable for outside work . It is fine for indoors tha't all
