This chain guide complies with the latest standard, ISCG-05, that’s the International Standard Chain Guide and the 05 refers to the latest development by drivetrain components and drivetrain component manufacturers. This new standard accommodates the need for more strict guidelines and better compatibility.This is a superbly engineered guide. As Besnin say it is very sturdy and durable. Luckily I know how to install it, as there are no instructions provided, either in the listing or the box. If you don’t know how to install this guide you’re advised to contact the manufacturers as Besnin don’t provide instructions with their product.Besnin advise looking at the 3rd picture to see how the chain guide can’t touch the chain and crank. That particular photo shows that the product weighs 215 gms. I can’t see how that will help follow Besnin’s advice.The guide is made of high grade aluminium; a quality often found in aircraft including the wings.If you’re lucky enough to have a bike that fits this guard and you want your chain to stay where it’s meant to be this Besnin guide is the one to buy.

I have to admit I didn't mean to order the purple option but the quality of the device works regardless and that was my fault! Fits well with everything you need to get up and running, including the ISCG adapter if needed. Good adjustability for various setups too. Slightly expensive in my mind for an 'off brand' system but can't really complain too much
