Takes a bit of getting used to but it frees up the hand that I used in the past to hold a magnifying glass.

Was not expecting for these operating glasses to be as good but was very pleasantly surprised. Could not believe that glasses at this price will do the job, but I did 3 oculoplastics procedures and could not fault them. I m sure I will get used to them very quickly. Had a Designs for Vision custom made operating loupes, which I can’t use anymore due to change in refraction and have also used Heine and Keeler’s loupes. The quality of view in not much less but there is no comparison between the price. £50-60 versus nearly £2000!! How is that possible?

Für den Preis, ein gutes Produkt, der Abstand zum Patienten ist Perfekt. Leider wird die Lampe nach 5 Minuten auf voll Power, (muss sein anders nicht so gute Sichtverhältnisse), sehr heiß und der Akku verliert darauf hin direkt seine Leistung, kann ich während der Arbeit garnicht gebrauchen, muss mich darauf verlassen können. Nach 15 Minuten muss wieder geladen werden.

For the money I was not expecting them to be as good as my current ones which were considerably more expensive. I was looking for a slightly stronger magnification and thought I’d give them a try. The quality is not as good as going through a dental company as they are lighter as is the battery pack, however the upside is you could buy 20 pairs of these for the cost of one pair sold elsewhere. It’s early days but so far they come with everything you would expect light, uk plug, screwdriver, UV protection cover and adjustable vision. The light is removable not fixed so you will need to be careful with the plastic clip but definitely worth a go if you don’t want to spend a lot of money or if you just want to use them as a spare pair.
