I used these whilst repairing drum brake components and these are great when trying to manage the springs that need to come off and go back on again. They are long enough, strong enough and can get the job done. For the price I think they are great and were cheaper, on this occasion, than my local stores. A great toolbox staple!

Love these pliers for crimping eavestrough downpipe at work and many other applications. Bought them as they actually have a real spring and not just two leaf spring type things in the hinge that never last.

Steht gut in der Hand und tut wass es tun soll. Die Kanten musste ich etwas entgraten (hat nur 1 Minute gedauert) und der Seitenschneider ist nicht sehr scharf. Sonst ist es völlig in Ordnung für den Preis.

The 2 pack of pliers arrived in their individual retail packaging.Taking the pair out of their packaging and the first thing I noticed was that one of the pliers would not open without manual effort. After forcing it open/closed a few times it was enough to loosen them back to normal operation.Found some excess material on the teeth of one of the jaws. I was able to use a paperclip to scrape off the excess on the edge to clean it up.I am able to hold a thin paperclip using the tip and able to grip paper. I’m actually able to grip a piece of paper with the tip, which is really good.Using the cutter to cut through a paperclip I found the blades started to deform a bit, so edge retention is only ok.The spring in the handle keeps them open with enough tension. I can operate the pliers with one hand and not be concerned about repositioning to open.The handles are made of plastic, are comfortable to hold and have good grip.Overall, the Boosden 6.5” needle nose pliers set worked very well. Comfortable to hold, the spring open design makes operating the pliers easy. Decent edge retention for the wire cutter and the head that are almost perfectly aligned so that it can grip something as small as a piece of paper with the tip. I just wish there was just a bit more quality control so all the burrs on the teeth would have been cleaned off and for it to be tested to be 100% functional out of the box (as I had to loosen one of the hinges before it would open properly). Otherwise, I believe these pliers would be a good set to add to your toolbox.
