War ein bisserl zerknittert wegen falscher Lagerung aber durch etwas Behandlung mit Dampf 💨 aus dem Bügeleisen haben die fasern sich normalisiert 😌Sehr angenehm zu tragen da warm und man nicht schwitzt 🙏Der Schnitt und Verarbeitung sind super

très très jolie casquette . Le tweed est superbe , la fabrication très bien exécutée et la matériaux utilisés de très bonne qualité . La casquette se "tient" bien , j'entends par là qu'elle ne s'écrase pas sur votre tête , garde un beau volume et vous donne de fait , un super look . vraiment top .

Größenangabe definitiv falsch.Ich mag Tweed und finde es für den Outdooreinsatz top. Diese Mütze muss man aber 2 Nummern größer kaufen, da sie einfach für zwerge gemacht ist. Größe 60 geordert und es war gefühlt ne 56, hatte aber jemanden, dem sie passte und gute Dienste leistet.

It is made in Scotland and has impeccable quality. It is made of 100 percent wool and has all the badging needed and also has a soft lining inside the cap making it comfortable to wear

“Handsome is as handsome does”, the proverb says. Borges and Scott certainly prove the ancient truth. In my original review I cited “stylish design and quality material”, then faulted the workmanship. Today I received my replacement Lomond Newsboy Cap from the UK, and the workmanship is perfect. The cap is warm and comfortable— I know because I have been wearing the original. The fit is exactly as promised. I am a size 7 1/2 US and the 60cm is a perfect match. One touch confirms the Harris Tweed is first quality, as the logo sewn to the inner lining promises. I suppose style is relative, but I really like the form the cap takes, and wear it with pride. I look forward to my first evening out and the inevitable complements. So, a quite happy ending to my story. But my happy ending is not the whole story. Borges and Scott is the real deal—a company rightly proud of their Newsboy Cap, and absolutely committed to their customers’ satisfaction. I have no higher praise! Buy from them with confidence.Mr. Scott took the time during a busy retail holiday season to contact me about my purchase, and the resulting review. Genuinely wanting me to be pleased with his Lomond Newsboy Cap, he has generously offered to replace my existing cap with a new one directly from the company. I cannot think what more a customer might ask of a retail business than the good faith effort to make things right. Five-star customer service deserves notice, and I want to clearly express my thanks to Borges and Scott. Once I receive the new cap I will update my review for a final time.I wear it as a work cap instead of the stylish dress cap I intended. Warm, but malformed. Cock-eyed fit because too much material was gathered on one side where the hat was sewn to the brim and headband. I read another review before I bought this cap that described the same problem, and thought the buyer the rare unlucky one. Seems we both are. Really too bad when quality material and stylish design suffers at the hand of poor workmanship.

I love the design of this cap and the quality of the material - fine Harris tweed no less - along with the sumptuous quilted lining. The quality and craftsmanship is evident and I think nothing less than excellent. I normally wear a 54cm hat as I like them to feel tight and secure, but with a cap one can afford it to feel less snug on your head. The 56cm was perfect for me and the fit was spot on.I have worn it most every day since I got it and I have received numerous complimentary comments from my friends and work colleagues. It is really comfortable to wear and quite easily forget it is there. And now we have had a few chillier days, I have found it to be surprisingly warm as well.It has, however, given me a problem...... both of my daughters and also my wife love it so much that I can see it costing me for 3 more of them! (I have already lost it to one daughter whilst out at the weekend when she "borrowed" it!). I guess that is evidence enough that they approve of my new headwear.The delivery was quick and arrived well packaged. I can't fault the cap nor the company. It just goes to prove, not all flat caps are equal!
