I love the design of these glasses, they are very elegant. We've been using them 3-4 times a week, washing them in the dishwasher, and none has broken or scratched. Even though they are very thin, they are not at all fragile.

Attractive to my eye and practical as well - great combo with a fair price makes this a recommended item. I like the light weight, no "bumps" on either side of the stem (bowl, stem and foot being one piece), and the thinness of the bowl when placed to the lips. Easy to give the wine a good swirl with the "flat bottom" design of the glass. Friday night a guest at my ranch got a bit exuberant telling a story at the dinner table and knocked his glass plumb off the table onto the wood floor. I was a mess to clean up the wall, floor and the wine splash onto the carpet under the table - but thank goodness there was no breakage, thus no glass shards to deal with. These glasses are attractive, practical and hold the wine better than do my guests. (the story was not really all that interesting)
