This ensures consistent power for tasks such as cutting metal, grinding stone, or removing rust. The no-load speed of up to 9,000 rpm allows for smooth operation across various materials, while the 115 mm disc diameter strikes a good balance between maneuverability and coverage.The ergonomic design is another highlight. First I need to point out this grinder doesn't come with a battery so you need to purchase one separately if you don't already have one. Secondly, it doesn't come with any discs you will have to purchase those also. You will also need a spanner which isn't supplied either.For those that have used angle grinders before will probably be familiar with how the attachments fit together. If you haven't used one before then you might find this bosh a little confusing. The instructions are minimal using diagrams that aren't very detailed and a written part several pages in so you have to flick back and forth through the pages between text and diagrams.The unit itself is weighty and solidly built. There's a side handle to hold also for more stability during vibration that attaches left or right side depending on which is more comfortable for the user. If you're left-hand this will be a bonus for youConclusion...It's a good quality solid tool but personally, I think for the price it should include at least one battery and a spare disc. I also think the instructions on how to attach the attachments and operate the grinder need to be clearer for people using a grinder for the first time. Not really value for money when there are so many options out there. I am disappointed in Bosch.

I own a number of Bosch 18V power tools so adding the bare GWS 18V-11 to the collection was a natural fit. Like all my blue Bosch Professional kit it’s a well designed, capable and effective tool.The angle grinder arrived in standard retail packaging and comes supplied with an auxiliary handle, a two part disc guard, locking collars and a substantially sized user manual (that fortunately is made up of a smaller user guide that’s repeated in many languages).So what’s it like? Well; it’s smaller, lighter and slightly more powerful than my older cordless grinder; the current 18V model sold by the yellow coloured competition. Whilst it provides the equivalent of 1100W of power (100W more than my other grinder), it feels noticeably more torquey but provides less vibration. Bosch have done an impressive job of taming-the-shakes throughout the body of this machine, and the anti-vibration handle only enhances the experience. The grinder feels controlled and stable and, with a 4.0Ah battery installed at the base of the ergonomic handle, it’s well balanced and comfortable for my mitts to hold for prolonged periods of usage. For a cordless grinder it'll handle time consuming jobs pretty well too as a 4.0Ah battery provided me enough juice to grind the rust away from sheet metal for 5 minutes with power still in reserve.It should provide years of service thanks to the new brushless motor that’s spins smoothly and predictably. The GWS 18V-11 has a number of welcome safety features that include a reduced chance of kickback, and a drop control feature that automatically cuts the power if the grinder is ever dropped and hits the ground. Overload protection is also built in, as is a very useful restart protection that won’t allow the grinder to operate after an exhausted battery is replaced until the ON/OFF switch is reactivated. With all these features looking after you, Bosch clearly have the safety of the user firmly in mind.Other features include an intelligent brake system that reduces the time the cutting disc will spin for after power has been switched off, and a quick-release tool-less collar that makes changing discs a breeze. The disc guard is also easy to adjust and position as required using a push-to-release lever. It’s all very well thought out and the smorgasbord of features and functions make the tool a pleasure to work with.

This is a good powerful grinder that includes the anti virabtion handle. The unit has good power and Bosch are part of the Ampshare battery system so you can use other batteries that utilise the same system. One of the best things about this grinder is the snap lock disc clamp, unlike conventional grinders you do not need a seperate tool to undo a tight lock nut. I do feel this is quite expensive as it is a unit only option but, it is Bosch so I expect it to last quite some time even with every day use. I do like the Bosch professional gear but would like to see a battery supplied,even if it's a small 2mAh as there are plenty of other options out there that can compete price wise.

Habe mir vor einigen Tagen den neuen Winkelschleifer angeschafft. Die Montage des Schutzes ging einfach. Der Zusatzschutz aus Kunststoff ist auch klasse. Er erhöht die Sicherheit ungemein. Werkzeugloser Scheibenwechsel ist gut. Beim Arbeiten läuft der bürstenlose Motor super, ohne zu ruckeln oder knurren. Was mir ganz gut gefällt ist, das die Leistung verringert wird, wenn die Elektronik merkt das es zu schwer wird. So kann man darauf reagieren, ohne das die Trennscheibe stecken bleibt. Das einzige was evtl. zu bemängeln wäre, ist das das Gehäuse mit dem Akku zusammen „sehr lang“ sind. Dafür kann man aber ohne Kabelbindung überall arbeiten, auch ohne Steckdose. Den winkelschleifer würde ich so wieder kaufen.

Wie man es von Bosch Blau gewohnt ist, bietet dieser Winkelschleifer eine hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität und Zuverlässigkeit. Die Maschine liegt gut in der Hand, fühlt sich wertig an und überzeugt durch eine starke Leistung, selbst bei dickeren Materialien.Der Akku-Betrieb ermöglicht flexibles Arbeiten ohne störendes Kabel, was besonders auf Baustellen oder in der Werkstatt von Vorteil ist. Auch unter Last bleibt die Leistung konstant, sodass schnelles und präzises Arbeiten möglich ist.Fazit:Ein hochwertiger Winkelschleifer für professionelle Anwendungen, der mit seiner Leistung und Verarbeitung überzeugt. Wer auf eine Drehzahlauswahl verzichten kann, erhält hier ein leistungsstarkes Gerät für den täglichen Einsatz.

– Verpackung, Versand und Umfang –Der Winkelschleifer kam etwas später aber kompakt im hochwertigen Karton verpackt an. Es war kein Werkzeugkoffer oder Sonstiges dabei, nur das Produkt mit Anleitung und Zubehör – ohne Akku oder Ladegerät, das muss separat erworben werden.– Akku-System –Am besten eignen sich Bosch Akkus ab 4.0 Ah, kleinere werden für den Winkelschleifer nicht empfohlen. Verwende einen 8.0Ah Pro Core Akku und ein Fein Schnellladegerät.Das AMP Share Akkusystem ist super vielseitig, verschiedene Hersteller haben sich hier zusammengetan und teilen sich das System. Dementsprechend vielseitig ist auch die Preisgestaltung, je nachdem wo man die Akkus bezieht, kann man erheblich sparen.– Material und Qualität –Der Winkelschleifer hat ein gutes Eigengewicht, wirkt sehr robust und hochwertig verarbeitet. Das Zubehör passt einwandfrei.– Nutzung –Es handelt sich hier um die Variante mit konstanter Drehzahl um 9000 Umdrehungen pro Minute. Eine variable Drehzahl ließe sich der Winkelschleifer zwar besser an verschiedene Materialien anpassen, mit konstanter Drehzahl gibt es weniger Leistungsverlust. Der Winkelschleifer wird hauptsächlich für Trennschnitte an Metall und Schleifen mit der Metall-Fächerscheibe verwendet.Mit der Schnellspannmutter sind alle Scheiben schnell gewechselt, absolut genial!Der beiliegende Schnittschutz lässt Scheiben bis 115mm zu.Mit dem 8.0 Ah Pro Core Akku konnten viele und zuverlässige Schnitte durchgeführt werden, bis der Akku wieder geladen werden musste. Bis zum Schluss liefert der Winkelschleifer konstante Leistung! Das Schneiden ist sehr ruhig und vibrationsarm. Das Anlaufen geht extrem schnell und das Abbremsen auch, alles ohne große Rückstöße oder Ruckler! Das Arbeiten hat sich in jedem Moment sicher angefühlt. Dran denken: Immer mit Schutzbrille und Handschuhen arbeiten. Alle Einstellungen lassen sich einfach und ohne zusätzliches Werkzeug vornehmen.– Preis –Ursprünglich kostete das Gerät ohne Kiste, Akku und Ladegerät über 250€ was mir sehr teuer vorkam, inzwischen ist es um 130-180€ zu haben.

I've been trialling this (1100W equivalent) along with the Bosch Professional 850W equivalent, angle grinder.They're battery powered (not included), but are claimed to operate like mains powered grinders (that's why the Wattage rating is mentioned).It's kinda difficult to argue against that claim.They're both very accomplished machines.Brushless obviously, but no variable speed control, the one thing I feel is missing.It's on the more expensive side of the market, but it is a quality tool.

I've not used a cordless grinder before but in terms of power and the overall output, Bosch has done incredible here. You have everything that you need (except the disc and battery of course - you need to use a 4 mah one FYI - please check your compatability). IF you have everything set up as expected, then it will work like a treat.The best feature on this for me is the fact that you can change the disc without any other tools/allen keys etc. and you can effectively 'quick switch' it for another one fairly quickly which makes this such a dream to use. The motor is sufficiently powerful and the battery life on a single charge for me has been impressive. Theres's a few safety systems that I've not had to try yet which is good but my favourite is the fact that is has something called 'drop control' which cuts everything off if it's dropped - there's quite a hefty manual inside to read if you want more details.You'll definitely notice how lightweight (just shy of 2 kgs!) and portable it is too - even with a battery, it's impressive to me that this thing packs such a punch - the weight is balanced nicely and compared to my older Makita, this is so much more comfortable to hold - the grip is firm and easily 'grabbable' even wearing gloves!Really nice product and definitely professional grade.
