We have used this on several camping trip and this performed exceptionally well. I have had no problems with it. Well worrying i definitely would say get the extra battery. That came in very handy when we camped with no electric sites. The battery ran all night then in the day time we use solar to charge it back up and all good for the next night. This also came in useful in a few power outage that we had, being able to keep out stuff frozen and use the refrigerator at the same time was awesome. Must have product and it is well made also. Tip while traveling we keep it plugged in the car so upon arrival the battery is 100%.

Eine schöne und große Kühlbox, in die viel hineinpasst. Die Zweiteilung ist sehr praktisch.Im kleinen Teil hab ich gerade Tiefgefrorenes. Auch eine Tiefkühlpizza passt hinein. Da sie wohl auf °F konzipiert ist, erreicht sie im Werkszustand nur -19°C, keine -20°C.Im großen Teil befindet sich bei 4°C das, was für den Kühlschrank gedacht ist. Da dieses Teil tiefer reicht, wären zum besseren Sortieren zwei Körbe angebracht gewesen. Dann nähme man den oberen raus, um leichter an das untere zu kommen. Geht aber so auch.Damit kann es in einem Einpersonenhaushalt sicher auch eine Kühl-Gefrier-Kombination ersetzen.Auch die Handhabung ist recht leicht, selbst wenn auf die App verzichtet wird, die es erleichten soll.Ein Nachteil in diesem Zusammenhang ist, dass sich das Bluetooth nicht abschalten lässt, wenn es eh nicht genutzt wird. Es verbraucht Energie und kann stören.Ein weitere Nachteil ist die Kondenswasserbildung zwischen den Klappen. In der Küche kann es einfach mit einem trocknen Tuch abgewischt werden und stört nicht. Beim Camping kann es aber durstige Insekten anlocken.Der zusätzliche Akku ist beim Camping mit Ortswechsel durchaus nützlich. Dadurch kann einige Stunden auf eine externe Energiequelle verzichtet werden und der Transport wird vereinfacht.Da ich die Kühlbox mit einem Solargenerator über den Zigarettenanzünder betreibe, fiel mir auf, dass sie weniger Strom verbraucht, wenn der Akku nicht eingesetzt ist. 100 Watt am Tag weniger ist schon zu merken.Insgesamt bin ich aber damit zufrieden, zumal ich dadurch den solar erzeugten Gleichstrom direkt nutzen kann. Es würde nur zusätzliche Energie kosten, um daraus Wechselstrom für einen Kühlschrank zu generieren.

Hatte schon viele Kompressor Kühlboxen hier von Amazon gehabt, auch die von Kesser. Wobei die vorige von Kesser gut war. Die andere konnte Kühlen und gefreieren gleichzeitig, war aber leider nicht das gelbe vom Ei. Wobei man hier sagen muß, das wahrscheinlich alles von einer Fabrik kommt, weil sich vieles hier ähnelt. Die Box selbst, die Kabel, die Stecker und das doppelte Concept. Aber egal, hatte diese Box durch Zufall gefunden und wollte sie testen, weil ich bei den anderen etwas enttäuscht wurde. Gut die Box kostet natürliich gut einen 100 € mehr und da möchte ich auch was bekommen. Und ich war überrascht, was die alles konnte, man kann diese Box mit einem separaten Akku betreiben, sogar Solarzelle ist möglich. Natürlich kann man sie auch mit einer Powerbox betreiben. Aber das kann jede andere Kühlbox auch. Und auch eine Kühltasche ist optional erhältlich, man sieht der Hersteller denkt mit. Nun zur Box, die Box ist mit 45 Litern recht groß und für ein kleines Auto ziemlich sperrig. Das schöne dran, sie hat zwei separate Fächer die man unabhänig voneinander öffnen kann was ich sehr gut finde. Auch die Deckel kann man anders rum drehen und wieder verschließen. Ich finde es auch toll, das man beide Fächer mit Lampen versehen hat. Habe jetzt die Box über eine Woche im Kühl und Gefrierbereich zuhause getestet. Manchmal stimmen die Werte nicht überein, das heißt innen herscht eine andere Temperatur wie außen auf dem Display. Aber sie findet sich recht schnell wieder. Ich denke mal weil sie zwei Kammern betreiben muß. Ich hatte sie auch mal im Kühl sowie Gefrierbereich mit verschiedenen Thermometern getestet. Und die waren relativ identisch mit der Außenanzeige. Habe ich sie mit einem Infrarot Thermometer gemessen, sind die Werte auch zwischen 4 und 7 Grad gewesen. Ich weiß nicht warum das so ist, aber ich denke wenn man den Deckel aufmacht geht relativ schnell die Kälte verloren wenn die Box leer ist. Wenn die Thermometer mit geschlossenen Deckel messen, passt es. Die Box ist echt super, und im heimischem Modus bin ich bisher zufrieden. Werde in 8 Wochen berichten, da werde ich an die See fahren und testen wie gut der Gefriermodus von der Nordsse bis nach Hessen ( 600 Km ) hält. Kühlmodus ist super. Aber ein kleines Manko habe ich noch lieber Support. Warum konntet ihr das Batterie Fach nicht etwas größer mmachen, da hätte man bei nichtbenutzen schön das Netzteil und das 12 Volt Kabel verstauen können.Den Support muß man auch echt loben, der antwortet auch relativ schnell. Es lag ein Batteriefach war.

Also die Kühlbox ist mega.Hatte die Beim Festival dabei und alle haben die gefeiert. Weil wir immer kühles Bier hatten. Haben die dort mit externen Power Stationen betrieben.Bei der Fahrt in den Urlaub hat sie sich auch bewährt.Der Kompressor ist nicht laut, so dass wir im Auto ohne Probleme schlafen konnten.Kann die nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen

Kühlt leider nicht runter. Nach zwei Stunden nicht ein Grad in beiden Fächern . Werde es zurück schicken.Habe die Box wie gefordert 15 Stunden erst einmal so stehen lassen. Würde mir ansonsten gut gefallen.

Die Kühlbox kann mit ihrer guten Kühlleistung und ihrem Design überzeugen.Die praktische zwei Zonen Kühlfunktion ermöglicht es uns auf der einen Seite die normalen Lebensmittel des täglichen Gebrauchs kühl zu lagern, sowie einige Dinge in der anderen Kammer tiefgefroren zu lagern.Die Lautstärke ist in Ordnung könnte allerdings für manche als störend betrachtet werden.Ansonsten ist die Kühlbox sehr stabil und gut gelungen.

Sie ist schön groß, mit genügend Stauplatz! Leider ist der Kompressor in der Kühlphase sehr laut und springt dann auch immer wieder laut an! Etwas schade

It'za Great Bit O' Kit!!!Anyway, that being said, it's easy to set up and control with the mobile phone app!!! I did notice that the temperature variance works best in about the plus/minus 20 degree range between the reefer and freezer. I keep my reefer set at about 30-32 degrees which is borderline freezing/not freezing and perfect for drinks. The freezer side I keep around ZERO and stuff definitely stays frozen!!! The specs say the freezer can go down to -4 degrees F but it seems to vary around plus/minus 4 degrees or thereabouts...your stuff will still stay frozen!!!...but always best if you pre-chill/freeze your items before loading in as it makes the unit work less hard. Always beats the heck out of having to fool with messy wet ice!!!--unless you like that kind of stuff!!! Manufacturer and user community support on Facebook is an absolute bonus!!! I highly recommend getting the installable rechargeable battery and the insulating cover!!! When I bought this unit and the battery, the battery was on backorder (POPULAR!) and we had to take a vacation. I ended up using an EGO PAD5000 400Watt inverter with a 7.5Ah battery with a 12v charger and using the reefer's 120v to 12v power brick to provide more-or-less pass through power conversion so whenever we stopped the reefer always had power to keep running...a bit convoluted, I know!...but the only way to provide continuous power without the backordered internal battery!!!GET. THE. BATTERY!!! You will thank yourself!!!

I purchased the BougeRV 12 Volt Car Refrigerator Dual Zone, Portable Freezer Fridge APP Control, 37 Quart.It was shipped quickly, well packaged and clean. While in it's shipping box it is a bear to move, (poor UPS guy/gal), but once removed from shipping boxes the wheels and handle make it easy to move. The removable baskets lets you lift chest in parts if once its full of food and drinks it is too heavy to lift.It was a little bit bigger than I expected and better looking than the pictures, it is a handsome 12 volt car refrigerator/freezer. I was surprised that it could hold a full gallon of milk plus a ton of other stuff. I did pick out the most rugged looking one on purpose to handle the occasional dirt/bumpy road conditions as well as for camping. I am happy with the size.Also I liked that the wheels and extendable handle can easily be removed with a few simple tools in case I end up using it in a permanent or smaller space.The two internal LED lights are very helpful and well designed, nothing cheap about them, they look good and work well.This bougerv got cold quickly and froze quickly in 70+F building. Works well off of power station with 12volt and pass through as well as works well from wall socket. Direct solar will only work if you have purchased the internal battery that goes with it. I use solar to a power station than use the 12 volt to the fridge or use the pass through.The most wattage I've seen it draw so far is in the low 50's when the compressor is running which only runs a few minutes at a time and that is just the first few minutes of starting it, most of the time it runs between mid 30 watts up to 45 watts depends if I'm using 12 volt or running through a converter, even at max it doesn't go above 45 watts most of the time. Different outside temperature conditions might have different results, as well as whether you have a cover for it.The USB port DOES work without the internal battery, it works as long as you have a power source connected. Also it DOES keep it's settings if power has been shut off or turned off than turned back on or plugged back in. But just in case double check everything.The sleek designed digital panel was confusing to me at first and took a few minutes to figure out, reading the manual is a must to understand and re-read it again. Simple cheat notes are printed below the panel so next time you need to set it you will be able to without the manual. Now I really like the way the panel works and understand why the designer/programmers created it the way it is.The digital panel is always on so at a glance you can read the internal temperature, without having to push buttons.There are instructions in the manual on how to change temperature unit from C to F manually in the E5 mode if you don't have the app. When you go into that mode you will see E1-E-9 and EA-EE. E1 through E5 is for setting up the fridge as a whole (E1 Lowest temp, E2 highest, E3 temp. return E4 Soft start) and than E5 for setting temp. unit from F to C or back again. But don't change anything except the E5. If you do by accident, the instructions shows you how to reset your fridge.Now about the rest of the "E" settings, E6,-E8 and EB-ED are Temperature compensation settings, to calibrate your temp if you have extra thermometer to check, 6-8 are the left side (big side) and B-E are the right side (small side). The first (E6 and EB) is used in increments of two until desired calibration is accomplished if the internal temp is offset 6 or less degrees, the second (E7 and EC) is if temp is offset more than 6 but less than 12, and the third ones (E8 and ED) is used if the temp is offset more than 12. But don't change them that way unless you are a total computer geek and do not have dyslexia. You can calibrate through the app..... If you find the right app. This should be done at the factory or instructions should be sent in the manual or the app should have simple wording and places where you can enter in the degrees that it is offset.About the app. Bluetooth does work, but the app that the manual has you go to, for android at least, doesn't work, I've tried three different phones and a tablet. But I did follow the owners of that app who is alpicool and used one of those apps and it works, and under settings you will find where you can calibrate the temperature, and that is a little scary there too so have a complete brain help you with it.Another thing, if you use an app to lock your panel, you can unlock it in a pinch if you can't find your phone or the app decides to not connect, by holding down the plus and the minus at the same time manually on the panel. I do not know of anyway to lock the panel without the app.Now about the rocky start. Basically my first panel did not work properly, it would not calibrate and was at its worse 10-15F degrees off and yes milk did get spoiled. Everything else worked very well, when I contacted customer service they where on top of it immediately and was very polite and professional, They analysed the problems and found that it was the computer board/panel and sent a replacement if I agreed to install it myself, I have worked as a computer tech in the past and agree to that instead of having to ship this back and forth. I found out that you don't have to be a tech as the panel was very simple to replace and in the end they also compensated me for my time and trouble.At first I was uncomfortable about that decision but customer service's concern and help was immediate and plentiful and now I am very happy that I went that route instead of having to repackage everything and drag it down to UPS and wait another month, plus I knew the condenser worked great, just couldn't get a proper temperature.This replacement panel is working well and with elementary calibration the range is mostly within in 3 degrees which is important because this will also be used as an emergency med fridge in the event of a blackout or long haul trip. My back up for when it is use as a med fridge is an fridge freezer remote thermometer with alarms on it.I am grateful for all the time and care that RougeRV representative went through to insure that I had a good working product, also they take great care to improve anything that might not be working properly and that makes me now interested in checking out their solar panels in the future or possibly the internal battery. I think RougeRV has a good future because they do count their customers as important.
