I don't often carry cash on me, but when I am going out for an evening where a bulky wallet isn't practical, I tend to wrap a smattering of bills over my primary credit card and my ID. This money clip excells in this role.It's not painfully obvious in the description, but this is a steel money clip with a beautifully done pewter emblem attached to the front and is in fact made in Ireland.I opted for the Tree of Life as this symbol means a great deal to me and my Celtic/Irish heritage. The pewter is cast cleanly and with just enough "Roughness" to come across as a weathered heirloom from a time gone by.The money clip is a standard steel affair and holds even a few bills very tightly. So this may be good for folks like me who might pack a 20 and a few singles, but if you are an all cash fat cat, this speaks clip may not hold your wad of dough.I have carried this a few times with two cards and about 8 bills, and it has held the money securely yet remains easy to open.I'm not sure how the medallion is held on, but I would guess a strong epoxy od some sort. Short of prying it off, I don't think it will come loose.The clip came in a beautiful jewelry box, so you know it was packed with care.In short, as has been my experience with all the fine craftspeople of Ireland, the product is well constructed and built to last for many years to come.This would make for a beautiful birthday, fathers day, or groomsmen gift.

I love the tree of life craftsmanship on this. I saw only one defect in the metal and it wasn't bad. This is a high-quality bill clip.This is one of those items that is extremely prone to theft. Be careful where you leave it... it will quickly disappear otherwise!

My son is very proud of his Irish heritage and enjoys getting things to represent that. When I came across this mo eat clip I thought it was perfect because he does have a wallet but only carries it when he absolutely has to and I know he would love a clip so he could have a option to contain his money but not have to carry everything he keeps contained in his wallet plus it has the beautiful pewter shamrock in it. Immediately seeing this appears to have a high end look and feel. The pewter has a worn in heirloom look and just adds the perfect character to this piece. The weight is nice and the clips can hold enough bills that will be perfect for him. I know he is absolutely gonna live this piece
